The thing is that if we handed over control of our currency we'd be handing it over to a group of faceless nameless politians who were voted for by nobody. However it seems that a lot of it all is coming from Berlin and Brussels. It seems to me that the Germans are trying to conquer europe by politics where they failed at war.

...then again, if you ditched your xenophobic assumptions for even one micro-second, and looked at the facts, you'd realise that the Germans gave up the most to join the Euro.

The French and the Germans wanted the EU most to prevent another war originally. That ain't likely to happen now but these ppl are mostly old and nobody likes to admit their idea is out of date do they

But I like them.

And anyway if you think about it who gave up most, the people of Germany, not the greedy fat cats who run it all, they lose nothing and they make the decsions. Adolf Hitler and his generals were the ones that made the decisions yet it was the German people who suffered most.
Anyway thats the way I see it and its 1am and Im not well so leave me alone.
