Everyone has had a clash with someone from another guild in the game at some point i think. However... this does not mean the whole guild suddenly is bad/lame or whatever. If you cannot seperate the individual from the group this game will be hell for you.

However... even though i have always managed to solve any problems i had with people ingame by talking to them or their GM ingame i do understand why some people find it hard to make the effort when it comes to VGN members.

I mean let's face it... the minute someone makes a "bad" comment about VGN on these forums the whole VGN group immediately comes out to defend themselves or their guildie, many times even without knowing the details of what happened. This is offcourse understandable since most people stick up for their guildies but if people see many threads like that where people trying to explain something and beeing slagged of by other VGN members they will form a biased opinion based on nothing eventually. So in a way they create their own flaming climate but since they don't seem to care much about it why should anyone else have to worry?

If u really have a problem with someone ingame, solve it ingame or talk to their GM. If you come here and whine about VGN (or any other guild for that matter) without even trying to solve stuff with the individual or GM ingame first.. expect to get flamed.

Oh and btw... better not talk to Angara... i hear he bites little luri's irl!!!

If you have problems with someone in my guild, you come talk to me. If you think i am talking BS here, then you have NO idea what VGN is about and i wont try to solve things.

I cant fobid my crew to all shut up and act like cute little luri's and elphs, we all have out bad days.

Now, pls...close this thread and lets get on with our lives in daoc :D

None of the people who originally formed VGN were kicked from their guilds, they left of their own accord, myself included.

99% of vgn are good guys from what my experiences are. I can honestly say that i know a fair share of guilds who have(or at least had at some point) waaay more "disturbing" members than vgn has *ever* had in their history.

My money's on the fact that the people who don't like VGN don't like em because they see VGN as elitist. They PvE together, they RvR together, farm together, the works and unless you're good mates with a few, you generally won't be invited to join. Well, if that's your view, tough shit - live with it. They enjoy playing together and that's why they're all in the same guild. Get over it and find another group to join.

From my experience, almost everyone is VGN is generally a decent person given time to get to know them better. It's just the occasional antagonistic retard like Xanthian who opens his mouth and ruins people's view of of VGN as a guild.
