Ok I did my best to solve this and it went as good as it can, i think.

14 guilds that was interested in an agreement was in the Cg and are listed below:

Vengeance
Celtic Fist
Terra Dominus
Blood of Numerour
The Unseen University
Llaw Arian
Dark Order
The Fallen Order
Draconis Alumni
Iron Pookha Wolves
Roman Soldiers
Brotherhood of Hibernia
Amicitate Renatus
Hearts of Fire

And we have agreed that the following villages are "claimed" and won't be touched by any other guild that participated in this chat group:

Zone: Meath

Villages:

1. Lough Neagh - TUU, RS
2. Ionad Coill - LA, DO, BON
4. An Bhaile - DA
8. Summerhill - TFO
16. Sylaun - VGN.
19. Veagh - TDMM

Zone: Kilcullen

Villages:

Nithdale - TD.
Merriless - IPW

Zone: Torrylin

Villages:

Brewel Hill, Misty Willow Grove in Torrylin - CF.

That means, there is a BUNCH of other plots left to pick up and have your house at.

If you could'nt attend to this meeting and still want a spot that is taken, speak to one of the officers/gms of the guilds above and then let me know what you've agreed on.

If you want a spot that is not taken, send me a msg and i'll update this thread right away.

Point with this meeting is to let prices sink til 1 plat or how much we think the house is worth, without anyon else interfering.

What I wrote are what the guilds I mentioned above decieded.

13. Rossmore -
14. Strathcyde -
15. Foynes -

Just an answer to your question, what you said is pretty obvious, I'm not pointing any fingers :)

Anyone can come and do what they want in this game, but it wont be any of the guilds mentioned above wich at least means something to me.

Yes people can but...

This is a great idea, if the majority of large guilds cooperate in this mannar we wont need to spend 100p each to get the plots we want. I feel much safer knowing that the guilds listed above wont compete for the plot I want, and im sure they feel happier that their guild 'village' wont be fecked up by me buying a shed in the middle of their area.

Yes some people dont read BW, and yes some people might decide not to give a shit, but hell this is a cooperative game and although the 'cooperative' aspect is purley optional everyone benefits tbh. Theres plenty of plots to go around, and this bit of organising helps everyone and saves the realm plat which could be better spent on our armour/weapons/keep doors etc.

Good job Tyka.

First off, congrats on following through with this idea Tyka, as Boni says its for the benefit of the realm as a whole.

14 guilds co-operating (think yer up to 20 by now) is pretty damned impressive, but there are over 100 guilds on the server (and not that many plots) and i have an awful feeling this will all end in tears :(

So what about the smaller and poorer guilds who can't afford a house right now and are not sure when they will be able to spend money on it, even when the prices go down? Choose from the leftovers because the best places were claimed (not bought) the day the patch went live?
Flame away, just my opinion but never agreed with pre-claims.

Ilfirin Arda would like some spots in Calderwood Village in Kilcullen Zone. Sorry was noone at the meeting earlier but had I been on I would have been there as 120p a plot dropping at 500g per hour is crap

Small / poor guilds that cant afford a house would get leftovers without this system, reverse auction benefits the very rich only.

Im sure the majority of members of those guilds wouldnt have any problem knowing that the larger guilds had cooperated and save themselves and thus their realm a few plat.

If I read it correctly Tyka isnt saying no one can buy lots in those cities, except of course the guilds who agreed to this. Besides that a small and poorer guild wont be able to buy a lot above 10 plat, so you would end up with a lot far away now anyway (just like you would do now). Tbh as boni said its best for small guilds to agree to this, so rich person in a guild doesnt buy the lot you wanted as guild.
However you dont have to follow these rules as long as your guild hasnt agreed to it or atleast thats how I read it.

No, as said above this system BENEFITS these guilds.. they cant afford to pay more tha n1p for a lot, so they claim a town so ppl know that their guild will be placing there when they can afford the lots. Without this system, they would just have to buy lots wherever, not be able to sorta preclaim a town for their small guild

And tbh the best spot is the spot next to all your other guildmates houses.. all the towns pretty much look alike. And if one town was prettier than another, well people who were waiting for lots to be 1p prolly wouldnt get a spot there anyways

I'm pretty all ppl who were in this cg were aware that this is just an agreement (as i can't be fundamental law by the game and it's policies), and from some of the posts in here it's pretty sure aswell it's not fundamental law now or whatever, as also guilds/ppl that were not on the meeting, have written down their wishes here and so joined later on.

so if you like to have a spot you don't want to have taken by any of those guilds who agreed on each other, why not just "sign up" here aswell?

all in all don't take it too serious, my personal thoughts about this are more positive, i just like the idea that ppl from a big guild like CF for instance will respect the wishes of a medium sized guild like IPW aswell the other way round. And it is not restricted to medium or big sized guilds or whatever ( what is a med size guild? o_O)

All in all just to maybe save some troubles and arguing ;)

[edit:]
typos ... it's late already :>

I think this is a good idea though there is always a worry that someone who doesn't read bw will stroll in and unknowingly take the spot some guild was agreed to have here. I just hope that if this happens people can still act civilised and adult and not start a flame war aimed at this person/guild.
But anyway, i wholeheartedly support this idea (as it seems stupid to pay so much money just for a plot when most of them are fairly similar anyway) and had i been online i would have been at this meeting or urged someone else to go in the guilds place. (I have no idea who was on from guild when this was happening as i was at work).
I'm not too bothered about where we end up with our guild house as i just see this as another bit of fluff (though a bit of fluff can be nice sometimes :p ) so leave the decision entirely up to the rest of my guild. I'll point them in the direction of this thread however though i'm sure you can sign Soul Reavers up to the agreement, just leave the plot we are signed up for as pending atm (or put a random one in, i'm not bothered tbh. :p )
