says it's 6quid a month but u get a month trial free (april summo?)

I'm undecided, i've brought it and it's quite immersive but u do need to have the time to play it - and i can probably see trying to build your level up by killing giant ants getting a little boring after a bit (i know there's other ways :p). May attempt a few more quests before deciding whether i keep it or not.

They added two weeks to the trial period. £6 a month? Fecking bargain.

I felt exactly the same as you Hash. Was considering taking it back but I'm well into it now. There's a lot of places to explore, a lot of people to meet, a lot of strange, new worlds, new life, new civilisations... you get the idea.

Just finished a mammoth hard-bastid killing session with Wij, Louster and Aph3x. Tres fun. :D I levelled (almost) twice before I had to quit to go to bed. :( When you're in-game, Hash type /who Wij and /who SomeGuy and so on to see if any of us are playing. Always happy to meet up. Louster and Aph3x have been invaluable in showing me the ropes and I hear Damini and WPKenny are helpful, too. I've yet to meet them, mind. :)

yep, 6quid ain't much at all - only thing about meeting up in game is i think we're in different realms...? i think we can still message other people in other realms tho - i'm on the same server but the albion realm :(

I need convincing it's worth restarting to come to midgard! is midgard a hip & happening place? streets lined with gold? as long as i can laugh and dance i'll be happy :D

You can laugh, you can dance, you can sit slap in the middle of a wall and watch the world go by... the decision is yours!

I honestly think it would be worth shuffling, because in the initial stages of getting into a game its always good to have people you know to iritate. I fully intend to have a character in each different place at some stage, but right know I'm going for the "whats through the HAMMER shaped window?" approach.

Within a server you can travel to other realms but only to wage war :)

It's worth giving the manual a quick once over. Let's face it, it's not the largest manual in the world is it?

The way the game is structured, so I understand, is that you're activly encouraged along the way to group up, join guilds, make friends. Ultimatly, when the game decides you're powerful enough, it will tell you how to group up and go on inter realm battles and raids. All very very cool.
