Fuck me, abosultly amazing. I had to have two tv's on in seperate rooms so I could make beer and food runs and not miss the action.

I sincerly hope the czechs dont rest too many players or hold back against Germany, it would be a shame if Holland didnt progress to the next stage because Germany play a weakend Czech side.

Both teams deserve 3 points for those performances. Seriously one of the greatest game I've ever had the privilege of witnessing live. If Holland do not escape from that group I will be very pissed off.

Glad Czech Republic won, I love the way they play and Van Nistelrooy's goal leaves a bitter taste in the mouth for me. Both teams were superb and I haven't seen such an open and attacking game in a long time, fantastic entertainment.

sending off was a bit harsh but the ref (who was poor imho) was conned by Nedved (even though he is a good player he is a diving, whinging bitch)

This game was a stark contrast compared to the Latvia - Germany where Germany were lucky to get away with one point, 2 blatent penalties for Latvia waved away by that chump Riley. I also have no idea how Klose missed that simple header in the last minute, all his goals in the WC2002 were harder headers.

Hopefully Czech Republic and the Dutchies to qualify.

i didnt think that was a dive. more of a normal fall due to nedved losing his balance as in the ref shouldnt have blown for anything and let the ball go out for a throw in

Van Nistlerooy was unlucky not to have a penalty in the first half. I think Ian Wright described it best in the BBC half time commentary.

"What did he half to do to get a penalty, he was practically being spooned by the czech defender"

All in all it should have been a draw. The Referee and the linesmen were terrible, what a waste to have Collina there, but only as a 4th officiall.

The sending off was interesting, he either dived or fell but the dutch player did look like he was trying to knockhim out with his arm as he went down. Had Nedved staed on his feet it might have been a more blatent booking.
