Never thought that would happen, I actually felt sorry for the Germans. Holland didn't deserve a draw, they were utterly shit until Pierre Van Hooijdonk came on. Van Nistelrooy's goal was a cracker though.

I felt sorry for Holland, I've always liked Holland since the old days, and when Bergkamp played (he was always great to watch) but Germany were all over them. It was only the last 10 minutes that Holland really applied any pressure and I think that was due to the goal startling Germany a bit. Germanys goal was a bit cruel, but they deserved it.

Germany had the better game overall. Van Nistleroys finish was a cracker though. Not much Kahn, or any other golaie, could have done about it really.

Too late he is going to Bayern Munchen I think. The Dutch are crap at the moment but normally less crap then they were against the Germans. But the Germans deserved the win.
