We had a fair idea you would try to punish us for taking your power relic and were waiting for you, but we didn't expect you to bring a force quite that big (or maybe we were just hoping you wouldn't). Just so you know, you sewed much fear, confusion and doubt amongst the defenders sitting in Dagda waiting for the battle to come to them as alliance chat was filled with debate about our best chance to defend (come out and try to intercept your army? Defend at nGed? At Scathaig? Just sit tight in Dagda and wait for you to arrive? Surrender? ) not to mention more and more desperate pleas for every available hib to drop whatever they were doing and get to Druim Cain as we watched our keeps fall one by one and we started to realize just how powerful your army was.

This was exactly the point of the whole attack Glad we ALL had a good time regardless of what happened. And The mid rellic attack might have been planned in advance, but to hit the rellic exactly at the moment we were gonna start on door 2 ... comon. Probably watched if we would be succesful in taking down the door with a full complement of defenders and when we did you decided it would be best to launch the attack now.

The Cost's for the doors, some lame Hibb informing the Mids doesn't matter really or the Albs that stayed in Lyon etc.

Running about emain as a huge army was a laugh and that's what I play this game for.

For as long as I've played on Excalibur, Midgard has ALWAYS taken advantage of people who are fighting eachother. If I'm at Emain wall fending off Albs, it's standard that I ask rangers/shades to keep an eye on Midgard wall, coz I've been attacked in the back too often by em. It's their standard tactics it seems, and they use it against Hibs and Albs alike. This is no criticism towards the Mids btw.

It happens to us as well, AMG it a terrible tactical position to fight from for Hib/Mids, because you always have to watch the rear and the front.

The tower in emain is a much better place to hold and defend

Only want to add that i was really, really looking forward to the battle that would have followed after we broke down door 2. And we would have since there was practicly no uber guard spawn and the albs that died while taking down door one could be counted on one hand.

We still need some sort of procedure to take the second door down with all those nukers behind it.

Darn shame we didn't get to that point. Would have been a nice battle I think. Just brute force

Btw was my very first time that far into that side of hib frontier. Nice open area over there. Could do nice battlefields over there
Oh and did some sight seeying as well. Was big nasty demon around some stones also. Damn he looked pretty tough. Is that one of the epic monsters?

I's easy when attacking, all you do is target the 2nd door or gatekeeper then AE like mad

Doesn't work when defending though cause u can't target ur own gate/gatekeeper.

You don't read the forums enough. If you had done, you will have noticed earlier threads citing the owner of the corpses bad behaviour. That picture was getting my own back and pleasing several people who hate the guy. So no amount of hypocrisy there, just you wearing the blinkers. Get your facts correct in future please.

Perhaps if you albs dealt with the morons in your realm better then you wouldn't find so many hibs/mids getting at your realm. They generate so much animosity.

Sadly, however, judging from the general tone of your posts, I'm not sure you are capable of improving relations between people in this forum. Your own posts are provocative too.

Where you at the attack? Because Hibs don't need gatekeeper targetted. They can AE nuke through the doors (or whatever type of attack, it goes through the doors and when 20 do it you ain't got a chance to stand so close to the door...)

And sure I would love to AE nuke but I'm just an armsman and to be honest we have damn few AE nukers in our realm... or at least not with us raiding each time.

Gatekeeper is at the side at the Relics anyway

Dunno about Hibbies but Clerics can do a PBAE smite and mez that goes through the doors when defending or if ur attacking.

When attacking you can also target the inner door and do a ranged AE Smite targeting the door. Assume most other classes are similar.

It's possile for me to AE smite from the walls when defending aswell.
