There's a lot of people asking of the high prices and I figured out a theory. Not like it's hard to get this though :p

Back in the day, midgard was very active in keeptakes and realm defence since they wished to have DF, to farm money. Back then many that farmed didnt salvage the seals themselves but to crafters that made money out of it, these that farmed used the money to make their SC sets, back then money "disappeared" to crafting MP parts and such.

Anyway, these crafters didnt allways bother to SC all their chars, but just exped them and the money kept on piling up "I got 6k seals atm, should maybe salvage em someday" and eventually while bored they did, not using it to anything thus there was lots of money in midgard.

Anyway, when ToA came people started wanting artifacts and drops, and since there was a lot of money the prices were equivalent to it. Now that everyone buys everything, and only a very smalll minority of the money is used to crafting, it just goes around.

I buy scroll from person B, who buys something from person, C who buy something from person D, so the money doesnt "disappear" it just changes owner.

This effectively leading that there's a high inflation ;)

That is exactly what happens for the most concerns. Prices are high on Midgard - but taken in consideration how much we farmed in DF etc it aint that much compared to other realms.
However, people seems to be forgetten sometimes that alot of people has quit/on break so there aint so much cash left in circulation.

Just my 2 cents.

If u want alot of cash (can't find anything easier than this w00t w00t) :
1. ebay a animist on camlann
2. go pharm alot expensive shit
3. trade the cash from camlann to excal at ratio 1:3

after a few weeks you can have 1000+ plats AMAGAD! (also called "do the danord - with a twist")

dont think its legal.. dont know, dont care, havent tried it, i just read it somewhere.

i dont understand what ur point is ? :)

there is high price of stuff simply cuz there is more money in midgard than alb/hib, simple basically :p and less ways to farm items so less of em so more price.

high prices r cause ppl pay. Dont all ppl can pay 100p for a GoV, or 30p for Mad Tales 3, but the guy who sell it dont mind if that poor guy who wanted it only see 5p in all they Da0c life, they only want money, and some ppl can pay high prices.

Kinda thought most prices tuned down by now, but guess not. Spended lots of time farming, to buy my stuff to TOA my warrior.
I kept selling most of my own stuff to reasonable prices thou ^^

If enough people started to lower their prices, the others would have to lower them aswell, cause then they wouldnt be able to sell their items?:)

They would sooner or later sell at that price, unless it isn't resupplied on the market at a lower price all the time.
