Hibs need spies to beat Albs

heh don't even need 2fg for it ... 3 buffed hibs would have done the job

albs being tightly packed were probably asking for trouble... but have you ever tried to move with that many people on the screen? the only chance you have _is_ to stick...

and the lag is so bad your reaction time is about 10 seconds... which is plenty time for a wipeout

Well Tyka, seems we just have to trust VGN or Brimwolf of reporting it to GOA.
Imo it wouldn't be bad to tell the community cause then they will know NOT to tell this guy about any RR plans in future.

And indeed Albs are only Realm that give hibs some fun at the moment so to the Albs who organized it a ver BIG applause.

It's easy to say, maybe this was a great friend of his, you don't know. I think we should let Brim handle this situation instead of telling him what to do, its a hard descision but imo reporting it to GOA and hoping that they will do something about it. First of all i wasnt there .. so i got no clue about what really happend ..

but still got a few comments i need to waste my job time with ..

Some Hib's here say " what should brimwoulf have done?" in assumning that ofcause you should help you own realm..

but as Fin allrdy postet he once stumpled upon some some RR info ..

But did he tell .. nopes ..

when i played more actively we had in my guild (Herfølge Boldklub) ppl from many Easterne contries.. russians etc..

and on quite a few occasion's they told that mids had planed a RR..
NEVER EVER did a singel HB tell in /AS or in any way interfere with the RR .. mosttly the RR was stopped... but as far as i remember 1 time they in fact succed in a RR that i knew about..

the ppl who startet HB was Brommmix/Taunter/Filip. we played mostly from a computer cafe (place with loads of computers with fast con. to internet)

At the same place there was ppl who played both on Mid and Hib on excalibur...

NEVER did we use info from them to gain anything..

why ? cuase brommix and i both played on US servers before we moved to euro (stupid mistake btw) and there we had so bad experince's with spies .. on some servers it completly ruined the RvR..

so tbh i think hib's behaved bad ...

and on a side note why dont ppl try ask this strator guy ??

after brimwolf told about the RR .. strator (or something like that) clear says "spies tell"

so hibs... when i played im sure any alb char found spying on other realms would be banned from the guilds and the groups..

why dont you do the same ?

why dont you boot the guys using spy info ? let em play alone ?

There is one simple way to deal with and stamp out the problem of spying and that is to deal with it so severely that even if spies pass on information it doesn't get spammed on /as.

The account of the spy and the person who announced the information on /as should be terminated and the accounts of those who act on the information should be suspended.

This way even if some prick does blow a relic raid the info won't get past the peeps who were informed. If they don't pass on the info via /as,/gu/g,/send then they have nothing to worry about. They can react to guard death spam with no fear of being sanctioned. However, if they announce on /as they deserve to have to purchase a new account and start again...and those who react deserve to have to play another game for a few days whilst they contemplate their lameness.

I don't think so. This needs to be stamped out and I believe that those who announce on /as the spy's info are just as culpable as the spy for ruining many people's entertainment. Terminate with extreme prejudice!

After a RR i once acompanied some time ago. Were hibs got unoticed to alb Relic afaik. and gathered up. Took no keeps may i add and and found 100 albs at relic.

Well after that cant say i care much about anything RR related. I might join up to help sometimes thats all.

But anyways do you albs have to keep it out of your /AS ? Becaus when we hibs bugger todo a RR we get afraid someome will announce it on /As out of stupidity. SO we always talk in a CG. yeah thats how far it has come to.. Quite sad.

So what you should start thinking about is who did you give this information too? did you notice albs on /as were doing a RR. Or did you place 10 fgs on pad all at once Well what my point is that "there will awlayws be spies". and if your openly about having a RR your begging to get spied and you cant think it wont happen again becaus your all pissed and getting some ppl banned wont help much.

I guess well have to accept this as we accepted all realms zerging Sorry for those how planned this.

1. sucks to be discoverd like that, spys are sad

2. take the humiliation and face the fact that you got pwned big in actual fighting part. Not very glorious but accidents happen.

Be mad about the spy but take the actual beating like men, not like albs.

To kill an army that is way larger than yours you need the element of surprice. (SPY INFO)
If any normal player see an army of 10 fg they would not charge they would run unless they knew they had the element of surprice.

1. Spies suck, and if found should be punished severely.

2. Regarding spying - All realms have at some point had a RR spoiled because of this annoying problem. The way the game is set up at the moment, u can't stop it. And btw, how many names have other realms given up, in the name of 'fair play' ?

3. Don't generalize, in regard to insulting everyone who plays in Hibernia, concerning this issue.

1 If we were told about a raid, it's hardly our fault is it? And we can hardly just say "ah well, lets pretend we didnt hear that".

2 2fg's beat 10fg because we were told by a spy that they were planning a rr? LOLLLLLLLLL, any stealther could have come across the same group at that time. At any time, 2fg's could be well within short running distance of their loc. How did the element of surprise come into it? As the hibs ran towards you, did you not think "ooo, maybe we should fight them", or was it more like "ooo, lets stand still and play dead, they might ignore us and then we can take the relic" ?

Spies are lame, but hardly our fault.
Who wouldn't act upon information like this even if they didn't like the way they got the info?
Albs got seriously owned. Simple as that. Forget all the BS about the spy ... yeah it's lame, but that had no bearing on your catastrophic defeat.

and the albs tbh shouldn't be so afk .... or they should have logged out or something instead of standing so tightly packed
