1 sorc, 2 ice wizzes, 1cabby. U CAN DO THE SAME FUCKING THING. It is NOT hibs or mids fault that u roll fire wizzies, it is your own, it is also 100% possible if ur not a mage stood in the centre of pbaoe to escape brfore death, get ur finger over the srpint button and go in the complete opposite direction of the pbaoe'r let them burn moc and then kill them.

Sadly the alb wizard has 3 fairly equal spec lines, all are good depending on the situation.
Now lets look at chanter, mana line clearly the best, heat debuff and pbae, even if u wanted to have a nice ranged nuke you prolly better going mana.
Spiritmaster the pet enhance type line sux (like it does in all 3 realms) darkness isn't too bad, but again the pbae line is the best spec line, leave the ae mezzing to the healers :)
Now if cabalist had pbae in the body line maybe you would see a lot more pbae, especially if that line had a matter resist debuff as well.

stop lying your pbaoe is the same as an eld and is made as fast as the chanter/sm as well as having a dd/snare in the pbaoe line. wanna trade your ice line for the sm pbaoe line cause that sux.

Yes made the same cast speed one year after game released, maybe if it was made faster earlier more ppl would have 50 lvl ice wizards now.
The main reason albs dont have much pbae is its cold damage (and this is what i mean by worse type) up until SC it was hard to cap all resists but cold was one of the easiest to cap, compared to energy. Thats one of the main reasons i respecced my theurg to air from ice.
You may argue mid didnt even have pbae till recently and i agree that put them at a disadvantage but i bet a lot of sm's respecced to pbae compared to the number of wizards.

I honestly can't belive that you really think that Hibs wouldn't have found your "staging area" by chance. I was in 2fg running around in collery that didn't find you, would probably have died horribly if we did since we had no chanters.

We knew there was a sizeable force of albs somewhere in collery long before the alleged spy information made it into /as. The guild who owned scathaig told us that since you clearly didn't avoid the patrols.

If your bitter about dying so shamefully blame Mythic, but well played to the hibs who found you, but mostly I think it was just luck.

If your bitter about spys, or radar, or any of that crap that spoils the game for the 99.9% of us who don't use it then ill say this to you, from whatever realm, type delete Y E S and go play something else, preferable something offline and single player because that crap will never go away and if you can't draw enough enjoyment from the game to allow you to ingnore it, then its time to move on.

I stated that Brimwolf passed the info he recieved onto /as. Is he a spy? Nope, he must be the spies controller :). I can just picture him going to a secret spot in Emain to pick up the plans loooooool.

The facts are....

Someone in Albion knew about the raid.

Someone in Albion passed on that information to a hib (Brimwolf).

Brimwolf posted on /as AFTER reports of enemies at Scathaig.

Albs then got twatted by 16 hibs, cos they were all /stuck AFK and parked on top of each other.

I feel sorry for the guys who spent 3 weeks organising this, only to get it blown to bits by AFKers, cos even with the best spy on earth, 2 FGs of Hibs sould have been dropped by 10 FGs of ALERT Albs.
