Ok mate maybe you want to try you seem to have the tact for diplomacy.

It needs to be done and soon I know but whats the point in starting until everyone is onboard and currently thats not the case. The 20 guild limit is a problem too, so do we just cast the smaller guilds aside? who gets the job of choosing them? sorry but no thanks.

So then what ?? we just lose all the time, and what's the point in that, if you can't say that the 20 guild's with most ppl in it can make a new alli, and invite the rest when the 50 guild limit comes, then what ??.

We need to make one BIG alli soon, and tell the guilds who are not invitet to wait and then get a invite after the new limit comes.

I know not all it going to be happy , but if we dont do it , then we can't win any good fight's or relickeeps or whatever. . . .

I think we need make this happend fast and yes with diplomacy.

One alliance isnt going to solve all hibs problems its just a step in the right direction. It just eases the flow of information, how that information is used will depend if we start to win or not.

Bigger Alliance does not equal more people in Emain.

Don't hassle me if its not going fast enough.

Don't need an alliance for that, just good communications.
A large channel helps, but again, it is possible to do without.

Perhaps we can harass Kemor or Zargar to attempt to help us here and inflate the number we can have?

Of course, spread it to the other realms for fairness.

This should be <policy wise> do-able, as I remember they have changed the doors before a patch, to reflect the changes in an upcoming patch, perhaps they can do the same here.

The number of Alliances is not a problem. Just have a Comms officer for each Alliance in a chat group with the comms officers of any other Alliance(s). It could be done on the basis of people doing an hour or two stint at a time, for that matter. Any information can then be easily distributed back and forth between however many Alliances there are.

Personally I don't think the failure of people turning up at Emain is an Alliance issue. If one Alliance was capable of being formed and included every character in the Realm, I don't think it would have a significant impact on numbers in Emain (well, for long anyway).

People get so damned bored of trudging all that way out to Emain again and again. It is definitely an issue, which is why Mythic are looking into friendly fort "speed buff points" en route, "tidying up" Odin's and Hadrians to make RvR there a more attractive alternative, and putting bind points at tk's (probably amongst other things).

Another factor is the number of people that have left the game either permanently or temporarily, or just given up waiting for patches and other things in frustration, and gone with the American servers.

Also it does happen to be Summer, and occasionally the sun shines, and so people go on holiday or just out and about enjoying themselves..

I haven't been around in game much myself the last couple of weeks or so. After having had an eye operation, it may be another few weeks before I am back in again anything like regularly.

Count The Brotherhood in for anything that will increase the fun factor for people.

if this 20 limit is going to mean some guilds arn't included then it would be much better to keep things as they are untill its sorted. From reading GOA news it doesn't look like 1.50 is far off and it would be better to have 2 lots of 15 guilds (duno how many guilds are in cf or cbh) in contact than just 20 in contact with the rest abandoned or formed into a smaller alliance.
and if ne1 was wondering yes I fear my guild would be 1 of the 1s not included.

as for hib rvr atm I think we're doing v well, we've had some good relic raids recently (didn't take the relics but got dam close), took a load of alb keeps yesterday and we're retakeing and defending our keeps quite effectively atm, I don't think the hib force in emain was wiped out once 2night even with all the albs out keep it up hibs

I don't think we have any major problems but we could be more effective in 1 big alliance when we can get every1 in

Thanks Tzeench, after a long wait (5 years) at least things are starting now. I have a pile of laser ops for both eyes scheduled (for acute glaucoma), and they leave me with what must be something like chronic arc eye, which can last around 6 weeks or so.

It feels really silly to be sat in a room with the curtains closed and with dark sunglasses on, and STILL getting dazzled by anything brighter than the background' *grins*

Still that phase has pretty well passed now, and I hope to be around again asap.
