hib classic farm char

whats best char to farm/plvl with on hib classic?

was told vamp/animist/chanter..

can animist/chanter farm well solo without a supporting druid/ment/bard?

is one of the classes better at plvl than farming or vice versa?

think he is trying to say /level works on chanter/ani so would only take 5 mins to make.. You cant start at lvl 20 with a vamp so you have to lvl from lvl 1...

would say Animist with fop is the most fastest and effectivest. or just manaregen what I'm saying that animist needs a support.
If soloing animist or chanter the downtime will be high and according this vamp will be the best solo farmclass because it doesn't need any rest.

ok good, my vamp is almost 50, glad i can use him to farm/plvl effectively without getting an animist up - also since i only have 2 accounts, if animist/chanter both require an additional char to farm/plvl i would need a 3rd account for the char to be plvld...

Vamps are ok to farm mobs up to redcon with, after that you wont hit very much thanks to low weaponskill, and not very hard cause of the same reason, hence you wont get power for your spells and will die fast. They tear through yellow and orange like there is no tomorrow though I usually cant even be arsed with bot when i play vamp since it isnt really needed if you spec high shadow mastery (49 SM 44 pierce here, not optimal for rvr though i think).

I played my vamp to lvl up the bard I *actually* want to play in rvr with.

Yes I could have grouped but it would have been way more painful.... Now I will also have a 50 pve specced vamp to farm plat with to craft, and also to plvl any misc chars i feel like experimenting with - i.e. one of my friends wants to put together an all stealth group.. not something i would lvl up a char solo for but ill grp a ranger/ns with my vamp while i farm and someday be able to come play with him.

And that is, of course, why classic server isn't the same as the servers were a couple of years back. No TOA, but you'll still have +cast speed, +cap etc from Catacombs, and people will still solo, duo and powerlevel rather than group.

The old grouping thing is still there, if you want it, though on normal servers we're usually grouping in places scrolls drop, or artifacts of the veterans train, for obvious reasons.

the presence of +cap items from catacombs didnt cause me to duo, the Vampiir class did....

but you cant blame it on catacombs, until i got that i was intending on going chanter+bard to get my bard to 50. Some people just dont feel like begging for groups all the way to 50, esp playing as a bard which (imo) if specced for eff group play is not a good solo char (for those times in between groups)

i love having to use less buttons when playing vamp (bard provides end + heals)

noobs spec high SM

I was godlike in pve with 41 VE 28SM

evading like a god and 100 hp tick heal was barely a little help. could take 6-7 yellows with no sweat.

soloed purple df mobs.

Im full VE now so PvE is outta the question.

P.S I had over 2K weaponskill as 41 ve spec

now I got 2213 ws at rr4

which is more than most

enlighten me about your spec pls.. i can hardly see the point of speccing 28 in SM, that 5% endurance advantage doesnt worth much.. also what kind of magic were you using while fighting?
evade buff, weapon skill buff, endurance drain, and heal? or parry, haste, claw as well ?
