I feel sorry for dogs! They have been selectively bred to make the most 'attractive' specimens that they can be but at a huge cost to their genetic well being. For example, the species used in Turner and Hooch is so fucked up on a genetic level that they are seriously prone to disease and inherited conditions. The same goes for Bulldogs...if I recall correctly, the dogs with the wider, flatter faces are prized more highly than the others and are usually bred to produce offspring with even more exaggerated facial features. The only problem is that the female birth canal hasn't exactly evolved along with these changes to be able to accomodate these wide, flat faced puppies spewing out of her with great ease. Poor dawgies are put in serious discomfort when they give birth. :(

Anyways, I'm getting off my soap box now. I need food.

How many times?

DOGS > CATS.

Cats could not give a shit about you aslong as you give them something to eat, then they'll just go round to someone elses house who thinks the cat belongs to them and they'll feed it aswell.

Dogs are loyal and do care. For example, when you get a cut they will try to lick the wound. This is because they have special bacteria in their saliva that helps. (Although who'd want them licking you anywhere after they've been licking their genitals. :p)

Big fucking deal. I prefer independent animals that don't rely on you for every single little thing.

Ooo...I need a walk.
Ooo...I need to take a piss/crap.

my cat owns, its a little baby faced black kitten, all the other cats around me are afraid of it cos its a vicious fucker :D
watched it rip the ear clean off the neighbours cat :cool:

Interesting thought about people who keep dogs as pets...

They often comment on their loyalty.
They often tell them to "sit" when there is no real need for the dog to sit down at that moment in time.
They often yell the comand louder if the dog fails to respond and become increasingly frustrated.

Are they just forfilling a need to exert power over another living thing?

This should be interesting...
