things are really set in motion now. episode felt a bit slow, though. claire should know that she can shoot peter and not have to worry about the consequences. he's come back to life twice already, because of her!
so is candice an illusionist rather than a shapeshifter? i think i like her more than before now :D
and what the hell is granny petrelli's power?

Another great episode, the Sylar parts were very good. The Watchmen influence is even more obvious this episode too, very cool

i do like how syler is starting to lose it.

Watching back the series i noticed a few things wrong, when Bennet and the Haician (sp) get nathan pettrelli in the vegas hotel and chase him, how does nathan fly away? the haician stops ppl from using their powers.

When peter and the tramp are on the roof and they get shot at, Peter jumps off the roof and flies away, again how does he do this with the haican there?

Also Future Hero was fighting with his sword, present hero has it broken by Sylar. Does this mean that they are now changing time?

That was the end of season.

23 eps, now we gonna have to wait.

Was a good episode. Trying to understand the eclipse in 1671, not sure what the point of that was.

Also, sylar crawling into the drain, we haven't heard the end of him I think. When peter met Shaft was it a dream? Travelling back in time? Not sure.

All in all, gonna miss Heroes. Cracking series.

The main intro to the show is an eclipse also. I think that the eclipse might affect their abilities in some way. I.e. forcing Hiro to stand and fight (like his father taught him).

Good episode although I'm a little dissapointed with the Peter/Sylar fight at the end. They really could have made it a little more epic.

I assume that Peter is still alive as he survived the explosion in the alternate future. And it wouldn't be too daft to assume that he has absorbed Hiro's power in some way allowing him to travel through time.

we know he absorbed Hiros power he stopped time in the future, i agree the sylar/peter fight could have been better, I knew all along that Nikkis power was strength and that Jessica was just her having multiple personalities after her sister dying and nothing to do with power, she was just mental

The two things interesting me most after watching the last episode are

Who is the person who can see the little girl when she looks for him and where is the haiitian? Are they linked?

I'm pretty much over Sylar tbh.

Personally I think its Linderman, I don't think he's dead, and I think his power is a hellofalot more than we've been lead to believe thus far.

I think Molly's "scary man" is the dying old black guy that saw Peter while he "dreamed" in the last episode. Yes, he appears to be a good guy there talking about love and stuff, but we all know the show is full of surprises. :) And I bet he will return in the show too, even though he was supposed to be dead.

Well i have a sneaking suspision about the "ultimate" bad guy, but i sure as hell hope they don't do it. Petrelli senior.

This post is quite long, and I'm sure most of you will disagree with me, but oh well it has to be written ;)

I've seen every single episode of Heroes and after having tried very hard to get totally into it and hyped up over it like the rest of you, I just don't feel it. I can't help but thinking they've had a massive chance at making a fantastic show, and they've blown it by in most cases, ridiculous writing, some of it is terribly bad.

I like a show to at least be feintly believable, to watch it and think "I understand why that character did that" or "I can see how the world ended up this way".

However, in Heroes so many of the characters make the most stupid decisions that make no sense at all, it really makes it hard to watch at times. Not to mention the predictability of many of the things that happen or the actions of each character, at least keep us on our toes guys, other shows manage it even in their 5th or 6th season! Not forgetting that those other shows don't have such a vast subject matter or massive possibility for any plot they choose like Heroes does.

The entire DL/Nikki/Jessica thing is a complete waste of screentime and totally useless, the interaction between these characters often makes no sense and they seem to have no common sense or basic people skills half the time.

Sylar is massively flawed as a character, so many things involving him really ruined the show, but it's not really his characters fault so much as those he has to interact with.

At one point Sylar is held captive by Suresh, Suresh has a drip continuously feeding Sylar the drug which prevents his mind from using any of his abilities, this is shown when Suresh first administers the drug to him and by the fact he's unable to get out of it. Minutes later Sylar suddenly has his powers and has stopped the flow of the drug and gets free, how is that possible? At one point he is powerless, with a drug flowing into him that makes him stay powerless, yet at the next point he suddenly has his powers again (impossible if that drug stopped them and it's still flowing into him) and all he does with his powers is turn the switch to stop the drug flowing into him, and he does that to get his powers back.

Hold on one second, he used his powers which he shouldn't have, to turn off the flow of the drug that stops his powers, so that he could regain his powers.

Stupid.

Hiro can travel through time, yet he can't stop Sylar? Ok, I could understand it when he couldn't control exactly what time period he went to, but towards the end of the series he could, and future Hiro certainly can. Why doesn't he just go back in time and kill Sylars mother, kill him at birth, kill him as a kid, kill him before he notices these powers? Problem solved.

Once you add time travel to something it becomes the hardest thing in the world to explain away why a character hasn't fixed everything. Time travel is easily the most powerful ability as you have the chance to stop things before they even start, why is it that Hiro or future Hiro can't do this? All future Hiro does is tell Peter Petrelli (Mr. Whine himself) a stupid riddle and that's it, it's so terribly false.

It's these kinds of things that make me think "what the fuck are the writers playing at" and it really hurts what could have been an amazing show.

They have pretty much the most exciting subject any writers could have to write about, superheroes, fantastic abilities and limitless possibilities. They choose to write some dodgy characters, who make continuous flawed or frankly ridiculously stupid decisions to prolong a plot about blowing up New York for 23 episodes. How can they have made such a mess of it, I find it strange how no one else seems to realise just how bad some of the things in Heroes is.

I see people frequently calling this show "the best show ever made" how on earth is it even close to that.

I think you're trying to over analyse it and apply logic to a show with super powers, which imo is a bit daft.

I didn't understand how Sylar could turn off his drip either. Also don't understand why older brother Petrelli had to fly Nathan into the sky, when Nathan can fly on his own, and anyway there were a hundred and one different ways to diffuse that situation that didn't involve sibling death. However, I disagree about the writing - I think the episode where they went into the future was blinding, and they really know how to write a cliff hanger that manages not to make you feel cheated - no mean feat. I love Heroes. The way they develop characters is sterling.
