Okay then, heres the options

1)

Past----------present---------future

2)

__________________/

Past----------present ____________future

3)

____\______________/
_____\____________/
______\__________/
Past ______present______________furture
______/__________\
_____/____________\
____/______________\

Nerf not having mutiple spaces work. If having trouble understanding, try and ignore the underscores as if you do thanes in RvR

But in summary, the 3rd option scares me if it's at all possible at and point to travel back in time.

:(

It's a fate question but my diagrams suck :(

First option, do you beleive everything we are going to do has already been decided for us and cannot be changed.

Second option that the future can be changed but the past is static.

Third option both the past and the future are open to be changed.

I randomly went off on a weird head spin last night thinking about if the past could be changed. In my mind for example, yesterday I may have gone to the pub. I'd wake up still tasting the beer from the night before, even remember posting this post (or not quite as badly as i imagined). But if the past was changable, was it really me who did all that stuff yesterday. Maybe sometime down the track they invented something to go back in time and changed an event in the past to make me go to the pub yesterday.

In that case, was it even me typing the beginning of this thread o_O I heard an interesting theory of life but I can't remember who it was by so it isn't a quote, just another badly explained thought that they bought up. They said that our bodies remain static throughout the years. Our minds change as we understand they do, we grow as science explains we do. But whos to say our souls remain in the same body overnight.

Say for example last night I was Tony Blair. I wouldn't remember it this morning because my brain is telling me last night I was at the pub o_O

Ah yes, an amusing paradox. If there was an afterlife, we would have to be recognisable. But what would you want to look like? What would you want others to see you like? What do others want you to look like?

Ok, here is how it really is...

The past can be changed in the present by anyway you want but it can only be changed so to change the future.

The present can not be changed untill it becomes the past then you can change it but how it was changed when it was a future does not restrict the way it can be changed when it is the past.

The future can be changed only by changing the past and even then the results are unpredictable no matter how carfully you do it but the past can change as accuretly and mith no mistakes as you can.

The level of correctness or flawless past changing is diferent for each individuall but although in theory it can be done with absolutely no error it is very rare individualls that can do so in practise.

The change of future can only be observed when it becomes the present there is no way to be accurate in the effects of changing the future but as a general rule the more errors someone did changing the past to change the future the more unpleasent effects the future change will have.

Obvioulsy though an unpleasent present can change when it becomes the past so to correct the future but the dififculty of doing it with the least errors deacreases as the past is moved further away in time.

Beyond popular belief technolgy does not help event changing in time, on the contrary it seriously hinders any attempt and is the most important reason why the theory that past changing can be done flawlessly is extremely hard to achieve.

All in all nothing is writen except the present and the past if you chose so at some extent, people have their fate in their hands past or future except for the present which will happen with no way of altering or escaping it in any way.

The body and soul subject is a totaly diferent one, which may or not be discussed in the future, even if the intention to discuss it is there.

So, basically we are changing our own past and our own futures constantly?

Or... are our past, presents and future decided for us along the best path on instant when we are born / concieved?
