need a lot of help developing a form in MS Access 2003. My knowledge is a bit sparse
What I want to do is select certain criteria from a table and then use this data to filter that table and export the data to a text file.
Firstly I want to Select a Period eg: 2007001 from a drop down list which is connected to a table in Access - This I can do.
Once this has been Selected I want to be able to select a transaction date that is related to the selected period above. So from the example data below all i would see is the Transaction Date: 01/01/07 - I cant do this
Period Trans_date Amt
2007001 01/01/07 50
2007001 01/01/07 200
2007002 31/01/07 320
Once I have the criteria selected I want to be able to use these Selections in a query to filter the data and then export it as a text file. - no idea how to do that.
Any help or a push in the right direction would be much appreciated!
