Storage heaters are fucking terrible, they store energy all day and then deliver an hours heat in the evening if you are lucky. I had to cope with them for 3 years and damn near died of a chest infection one winter it got so bad, that is when I invested in my Delonghi oil heater and it served me bloody well for the 18 months or so that I needed it.

Oh and I don't stalk Ez, we just have an understanding.

I've priced up some panel heaters and can do the whole house for £350.

Holy crap, I tell you what you can really notice the difference and how drafty my frigging windows are!

I taped the plastic over the windows except one in bedroom and lounge so can still open them. Those ones I half taped and then pinned the rest of the way round but the breeze coming through em, jesus no wonder I was frozen lol!

Those blankets EAT electricity if you aren't careful, much better off with a hot water bottle as they retain the heat for hours. Invest in a good duvet as well, I wouldn't be without my feather and down duvets.

There'll be no more dancing about in my underwear until, oh say June/July, am officially in unattractive (but warm) clothing mode now!
