I'm looking to get a big HD for my burgeoning stash of warez and pr0n and my bulk emailing database.

I currently have 80 gig and was thinking of bunging another 160 on. I think my mobo supports IDE up to 100. Maybe 133, don't remember.

What's a good, fast, reliable and cheap hd ?

Thanks,

Wij.

um, I put this in my unix poota. one of those with an 8mb buffer. it's dead quiet and very fast (imo). also, because it's not the zillion-gig top of the range thing it's reasonably priced. I'm sensitive to pricing lately heh.

Agreed with Teedles.

I have a preference for the Seagate HD (we work with a number of HD partners and they do seem to be the better)

I have the 60GB drive and its excellent for me.
