well this is where we will just have to disagree then, i truly believe there was enough time to make the correct (which he did) judgement, AND enough time to apologise.

I have to deffo agree with this, when u accidentally hit someone it's just as much as a surprise for you as it is them and you act accordingly. Like you said "with an instant apology" or some gesture body language and asking if they are ok.

The result was the right, the reasoning for his acts makes him asshole in my eyes He acted way too fast and yeah, this is where we disagree (less than second to apology and do the judgement :S and doesn't he try so say something?).

That doesn't go for anyone though. I've done it few times hard enough to make people bleed without realising it before someone points it out, usually I notice it right away. Besides, my impression is that it could have been some handicapped person doing who back hands and I bet our man here wouldn't of noticed it before the first few bunches :S

Jesus Saggy listen to yourself - watch the video again - if from that distance you cannot see it was intentional then you are deluding yourself and no-one else - look how many people disagree with you for one - as for the "it might have been the boxer setting them up" theory - i woudl expect that from joor maybe - why would someone as capable as he was take his girlfriend and let her get slapped just so he could film it - the filming was done by the 2 lads friend no doubt, maybe slapping the other lad as well was a bit off but I would have done the same - just because he didnt "pull the trigger" doesnt make him less guilty - he was the distraction and between them they pretend to be stood talking etc - I would have pounded them into mincemeat and gone after the person above filming it tbh..

I am not violent but that kind of thing sickens me - and it sickens me to some extent that you are even trying to stand up for them / say they dont deserve it - its those kind of attitudes that lead to kids diong crap like that in the first place.

Whatever way you try and argue your point - read the last 7 pages and everyone else's view - maybe then you will understand - watch the footage again and tell me it was an accident - tell me 100% that it was an accident - and I will call you a liar - plain and simple..

Its a craze thats out of hand and good on that lad for doing what he did - he obviously knows how to fight and yet he didnt pound them completly - he showed restraint because its obvious he knew how to throw punches etc and yet he didnt complety give them a hiding which he could have done..shame really.

first of all. the guy facing the couple comming towards looks at then, them leans forward, as to whisper something to the other one, the dude with the back towards them take a quick look to the LEFT of his shoulder and spot them, THEN he looks over his RIGHT shoulder see them and takes the swing.

what would u think is a "reasonable" ammount of time before reacting? 5 seconds? 10? 20? a minute? wait until they have run off laughing just to do it again?

I know it was intentional as I can see it from this tape but I dont see how that boyfriend who doesn't look at this tape can see it.

0.5s for one more step forward, another 0.5s for "what the fuck!" gesture and 0.5s for looking at how's the girl - 2.5secs instead of <1sec, small things makes a difference.

I put myself in his shoes and try to figure out what it would look like and gave my opinion about it. Simple as that and people are free to disagree with it - just dont put words in my mouth and start a witch hunt Oh, and by judging on what we know and basing our opinions on that then yeah, that boyfriend is a hero for bashing those guys. Whole different story when it actually happened and what that boyfriend saw/thought at that time - still asshole in my eyes.
