I've got to say, I just started posting here, and I found this to be a very friendly board. All the flames/spam just wash over me

I agree. I've only been here a month but it's still has a friendly, pub atmosphere. The flames are like the occasional fight that breaks out - fun to watch but you don't have to join in.

Plus they seem to have died down over the last couple of days.

They were occasional but then Glynners joined and they seem to rise in number.

Perplex, I don't know you, but never seem to agree whit any of your posts. And my view on you is you do look for people to flame. I know Glynners and I think he's a nice guy and somone you can get along whit but you just won't let him calm down whitout bringing up another lame arguement about his sexuality, and as I come to think of it you know more about 'homosexuality' than Glynners. I personally feel things will gradually get better. Some peeps seriously have to chill out [do as I did: get a Murphys infusion ] and all will be cool again.
I don't think the 'General Forum' needs a full-time moderator appointed tho but it would be nice [in the meantime] for the mods to keep an eye on it.
