/me thinks back to the days before "corperate" barrysworld and nationwide ads that sucked in the lamers.
I dont want to write too much, cause it sounds patronising and unbelievable.
however, whatever it was that caused all the splits and the rifts and the flaming, does no one feel that the Barrysworld community as it always used to be -- friendly, talkative, helpful, approachable and 'like an ongoing laff down the pub' -- has now gone. Do you not miss that?
It can be quite disturbing reading some of these posts and thinking, what the fuck happened to having a laugh?
I wont elaborate, I know how bad I am at doing that.
