You do have a point - take the red cross - says they are transferring stuff from elsewhere in the region but ignores the reality of the wrecked docks and overloaded airport plus problems of security of supply.

There should be a new charity formed for each disaster and that should be the only charity with a presence in the disaster zone - whats going on in haiti is a disgrace of farcical proportions.

"Lancet editor Dr Richard Horton told the BBC there was no effective common leadership of humanitarian workers in Haiti, as many non-governmental organisations were competing against each other."

When you have so many seperate charities with their own agendas you inevitably end up with the wrong supplies - too much of some things when your desperately short of something else - I hope we learn from this one.

On a lighter note how awesome was that little boy's reaction when he was pulled out of the rubble yesterday.

I could of broken it down as to what exactly its problems were but just decided to be short and honest. It isn't my problem that Haiti has naturally become flavour of the month and that it was more or less ignored before the earthquake.
