Just got some shares through and have £350 to spend at a push £400. Is it worth upgrading or wait for the next series to come along? My PSU is only 600W I notice that a 770 requires 600W minimum is not wise to use minimum PSU or would I be fine?

Not worth it.
The 700 series are just 680s with higher clocked ram.

In most games at 1080p you won't even gain 10fps.

PSU wise, the 700 series use about 400w under max load, if your cpu is ~100 and your hdd around ~20 you'd have a bit to play with depending on what else you have going on.

same card as me Aada :p it will last awhile yet before it needs replacing, only reason to replace it is if it dies.

If I were to get a gtx 770 it says I need an 8 pin will that mean I have to go into my PSU and mesa around? Never actually had to fit power connectors before. Silly question I know.

No they put converters in the box with the gfx card to allow a standard connector to be changed into 8 pin

Most PSU these days have a 6 pin with an extra bit you can attach or detach to make it 8 pin, its already hard wired (or none hard wired if you have a modular PSU) you literally just need to clip it on to the 6 pin bit and stick it in the card.

I have a GTX 560 ti and have yet to encounter any gfx setting which that card has had any difficulty with or that has given any kind of fps lag etc...so no ;)

if you want to invest, then keep the 670, buy another one, and run SLi - it's cheeper and they will outperform any 700 card ;)

The 770 I have requires 2 8 pin connectors my GS600 only has 2 6 pin, the card is working fine but in the long run will having 2 6-8pin adapters hurt my PSU because they aren't native?
