GTA 3 on PC

Heard that it runs like a dog on my Athlon TB 900 / GF2 GTS combo.


Anyone have it?

It is one of the best games I have ever played. I've been buried in it for days and I can't let go. Runs beautifully at 1600x1200 on my box.

I have t-bird 1.4, 512 ddr gf2 titanium@1024x768 and it runs like shit. Class game though, worth it purely for the radio

Not really, as you can download the radio stations entire broadcasts legally from fan sites.

have just installed it on my P4

specs:

P4 Northwood 'a' 2.4Ghz
1Gb Kingston Rambus
Gainward Ti4600 128mb

and I've just got it running across a PAIR of 18" TFT's - resolution of 2560x1024 and its soooooooooooooooo sweeeeeeeet

AMD 1ghz, 512mbs ram, gf2 GTS 32mbs. 1024 res, runs absolutely fine, occastional slight slowdown on very crowded bits, but on the whole runs lovely like. Dunno what you people are doing wrong..

I didn't find the PC version as good, and even a little nerdy.

Only good thing about PC version is the price.

the pc version has mouselook aim thing, the ps2 uses lameotargetsystem™. Plus the pc version looks just the same as the ps2 version tbh. very cool game
