Tried F5 and arrow keys / movement keys and it doesn't budge - what am I doing wrong (Or more importantly, is there an easier way to steer a skiff?

you have to be out of mouse look to use F5 and arrow keys, in mouselook you can use the mouse to move it about (ie forward to move it back, back to move it forward, or something like that :p )

Not that i know, but you can use

/groundassist <playername> : to set your GT the same as theirs
/groundset <number> : to make your GT appear infront of you, eg /groundset 700

No you can't place a ground target by coordinate, and you will never be able to. It's far too powerful an ability.

Just think about it. You would go through and take down the coordinates for all the key strategic points inside a keep, and macro them all. The just start volleying/GTAEing to your heart's content.

Yeah but that system is bugged like hell.
You can only /gr at short ranges.
If you stand at the SAME spot as one of your buddys and he place a GT at max range or even much shorter, you can't assist him.
It says "You can't assist xxx's, His groundtarget is out of range" or something.
So /gr is a load of BS imo.

Sometimes I can't use GT aswell, a relog mostly works. It can also be your GT is too far away, that you can't see where it is.. and if you press F5 again it wont reset, but stay out of sight.. making it look like it don't work.
