wasent it u that tried to solo a group of lvl 30:ish pbaoe group up at tempters a week or so ago, and lost horribly?
no :< haven't been in DF for a long time.. doing ML's and kicking my artis to lvl 10, besides, i don't attack groups unless they are pulling, and when i see a fg pulling lots of mobs for pbaoe, i kill the pbaoe, the tank and the healer, then i let the rest get exp death, it is soooo fun :D besides, i'm a scout so i don't go in melee with a fg :touch: i stand in mobs that is aggro to you and shoot so you can't come slap me in melee ;X so no, you diden't get to make fun of me, even tho you tried :twak:

btw. you person who said i was doing it only to get people to quit, i don't, i find it extremely funny to put 1 arrow into the tiny middy skull then hear them scream, then see a huge zerg og SM's and SB's coming to find me :kissit:

Of course not, but dont expect to get respect from it, grey con killing isnt challenging and people that resort to it get a hit on their rep :) Which reminds me of a hibbieboy that seems to have specialised in killing lvl 20s, name ends with ....court, logs in, kill a few level 20s and log out, return 30 min later and repeat the process. I guess he will ding 1L7 soon :D
Aye .. I can appreciate the difference .. I dont make a habit of killing greys unless for the times mentioned earlier in the thread. (DFalls changes hands to us so ALL are valid targets - grey or not, no one about when its not ours (DFalls) so kill 1 grey to draw the high levels down etc)

The story you add though of the guy that targets level 20s then camps, to come back later to regank them ... wouldnt that be classed as griefing ?

Half the fun is trying to see how long you can survive .. Kill 1 or 2 people and you know the big boys will be on their way to find you .. giving them the slip whilst your heart pounds in your chest is what its about for me ..

Camping to avoid death is a poor show.

arf... you got me! it's so funneh when your heart starts beating when the SM's pbaoe is 1 inch from hitting you, then you see a fg run trough you at mach5, then you get even more nervous when stealthing trough the aggro redcon dia mobs to hide away    :drink:

Well I agree that it might draw attention of higher lvl players to the area where lvl 20sh was killed due death spam - I concur. Its still low thing to do to kill helpless lvl 20sh players who struggle killing say plated fiends trying to get exp.

Yesterday evening (very late like at midnight (gmt+2)) there were bunch of gray cons again killed at df mid exit portal. Luckily I had my bb with me, so I rez'ed 'em and proceeded to X.

And today before I left to work (I had to fill bit my inventory with salvage loot from df shops) there were a LOT of graves at mid exit portal.

Said it before and will say it again, no one HAS to exp in an RvR dungeon, and as for honour, well, my class uses poison, stabs people in the back etc so any kill is a fair kill IMO :m00:

Well .. obviously .. but who said anything about ganking level 20s ?

I dont normally go all the way to the entrance (where the level 20s would be) as the guys on the steps have the advantage of range, and being a blade I need all the advantages I can get :p

If I was to go that high though its normally the BB that gets it ;)

Well personally I pity the guy as he/she obviously is up to play in a challenging environment atm. A bit like running wild and slaughtering all the critters outside Fort Atla with your optimised lvl 50 character :D

If the aim of killing level 20s for xp deaths seems like you have lost touch with reality, they guys loose something like 15 min of xping so the loss is immaterial in the long run towards lvl 50. Better to let them finish their fight, collect loot and push them out of DF if you have a problem with lowbies in the dungeon. But beware, the "it is a war" attitude isnt viable in come circles, the FGvsFG proponents constantly argues for the opposite, with "fair play" between equal groups etc. Grey con killing easily ends up in same bad behavour box as adding to a fight due to they be enemies.

At the end of the day you get a hit on your rep and a handful of rps, so the rhetorical question is: what is most important to you?
