As Gahn said, there are hunters that are a pain to deal with so.. just keep on working on it and i guess you will get it right some day

A tip, sunspear do not work so well on everyone, my NS has 26% energy+CLresist and land on 36% totals, HF with a sunspear vs that :/

I actually recomend the use of sun weapons,
not cuz of thier speedness tho, wich is one of the bad things
like thier stats... just crap..
However! the energy damage makes it all worth it:

all players ingame exept those who wear all kinds of leather
is actually -5% to -10% vulnerable to energy.

wich brings me to 36% energy resist, in your case its good since you're a ns
but as an example, say... a skald vs a guy with sun weapons.. and the skald got 36% energy resist..now we do the -10% and what do we have then?? 26% energy resist, prolly even less than what the skald got in melee resists.

in any case.. many people do not fix energy in thier templates.
so the worst things that could happen would be the following :

You meet an armsman/warrior/hero "i think it is" with all sorts of capped resist +15% to all magic.

you meet a ns with 36% -10%=26% energy resist in wich case you would do the same damage with a standard melee damage weapon if not more.

the best thing that could happen on the other hand would be:

You totaly own!!
You do alot more damage than the one you are fighting!

wich is what will happen the most.

if the sun weapons had a spd of 5.7, "same speed as a well know armsman's legendary spirit pole" the sun weapons would be the hardest hitting weapon in the entire game.
but the main reason i don't use it myself is cuz of its spd and stats.

killing killz 1v1 is like killing a caster using his staff to dmg you

Good comparison. Looking trough logs usally shows that 1/3 of my hits
gets evaded and the rest is just about the damage NS/inf does but the
swing speed is twice as fast as mine. If I miss my behind style (stun)
Im dooomed.

all vunrabilities have been reduced to 5% btw but yes i agree sun wep is the way forward atm im sure that will change soon

Well they should have been able to figure out that you mean that by themself Shike, not like it took a genious to understand what you meant.

Ofcourse you switch weapon depending on what the one you face is vounrable to.
