Gratz to me - 1st solo kill in ages! :D

Yesterday evening I solo killed a luri NS or ranger with my ToA templated rr5L4 hunter! I cant remember hes name tho. Was too exited at the time
The fight took place bled side of brynja.

Every time I use to fight a stealther it usally ends in seconds.
But yesterday I actually won! I had 1% hp left so it was close.

I almost deleted my hunter a month ago when a lost vs a NS jumping off brynja
with 14% hp left... doh.

The last time before that I did a solo kill was this spring, a ROG rr2 inf.
It was a close fight but I won.

Nothing wrong with my temp or RAs. Brand new temp with sun spear.
The only thing I admit that I dont have is purge3 that seams to be
important vs inf/NS.

U can't solo without purge 3 tbh, don't take it bad but there are plenty of hunters giving bad times to Ns and Infils out there. So buy that RA and come out to test it

And sit hide in a corner for 4½ min between each fight?
Thx for advice but Im quite sure purge3 wont help. I need a RA that gives
me a big amount of luck!

Difficult that'll happen xD Nowadays u get a kill and right after u get rolled, rel, rebuff, get a boat, and purge is backup ^^

As Gahn said, there are hunters that are a pain to deal with so.. just keep on working on it and i guess you will get it right some day

A tip, sunspear do not work so well on everyone, my NS has 26% energy+CLresist and land on 36% totals, HF with a sunspear vs that :/

137 k last week all solo shows it all, he's also ofc 3 rrs higher than my shade.

Guindor is really impressive, it's a fact. I get stunned watching him cleaning DC without a sweat. But hunters, melee wise, are still subpar when compared with rangers, as scouts are, compared to both tbh.
Nevertheless, a good player, with decent rr and a good template can make even the worth class in this game shine.
Just stick with your hunter and be patient: you can't make any mistake when playing such a class

Fought a hunter last night on US server in cathal valley
The new pet is a complete pain tbh

I was walking about spamming "target nearest enemy" and a hunter popped to cast his pet, I stuck him and got one swing in before the pet garrotted and diseased me

Got another swing in and teh hunter hits run key then speed bursts off
I purged the diasese and hit speed burst, 1 sec later I'm diseased again as the pets disease proc seems to have a large range and after that the hunter just took his time plinking me with arrows and /laugh spamming

Very frustrating class to fight now

But in fairness to him, he was solo, every other hunter in cathal valley, travelled in packs of 3 and 4, just allowing their pets to munch you to death
