I can live with you adding, but if I ask you to stop, in a somewhat polite manner, and you reply with a load of shit, that's hardly acceptable to me. I asked on /as after getting added on for several days, and already having had a retarded reply from you, after which I couldn't be bothered rephrasing it to suit your sensitive needs. Adding isn't always ruining the game for me, but in your case it sure didn't help. I did not need your help, nor did I enjoy your presence. I don't tell people how to play the game, I only tell them not to get in my way and/or ruin my game experience. I usually get off with asking people politely, but in your case you just wouldn't let me.Alaron said:First of all, whining about adding in an rvr area this small is simply ridiculous. Secondly, I don't believe in this "don't add" bullcrap, which I have tried to explain in another thread.
The way you phrased your question about not adding was nothing more than actually telling people not to add. That's where I responded on /as (I wasn't in the group at the time) and told you to stop telling people how to play the game.
My group (not actually mine, I just happen to be the gl most of the time) usually consists of a handful of guildies. We are not trying to make opted groups, we are just trying to have some fun with the people we have. We are not out to ruin the game for you. If you think that "adding" is ruining the game for you, then I'd suggest you take a step back and check the scope of this game.
To all the people who called me a retard, zerger, idiot and what not: I love you too.
To all the people who I've had the pleasure to group with over the past 3 years: thanks!

If you play to enjoy the game, wouldn't it be easier to get off my back and go add on someone else, rather than pick a fight?

First thing I pm'ed you was 'good job' after you added on a nice fight, after which you didn't reply any better than I did, but I figured you got the point.Alaron said:Excuse me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember you "asking" before we had the incident on /as (yes, incident, because if you call that politely asking, then I don't want to know what you'll call impolite). I'm not here to pick a fight. I have tried to be reasonable and explain things, but you just don't seem to want to accept that not everyone wants to play the game the way you do, hence the "shut it" to your "ffs 2nd add in 10 mins!" a few nights ago.
I'd say we take this to PMs and sort it out there. The last thing I want is having enemies in my own realm.

I was being reasonable on the alliance, but I just didn't get your atitude, as I never met anything like it before. Every time I asked/told someone not to add, whenever being somewhat reasonable, people would stop and simply add on other people instead.
And I honestly don't expect people to play my way, nor would I want them to, but it's perfectly possible to add on other people than me, isn't it? So knowing I don't like being added on, after asking several times, you kept it up, while there were plenty of other fights going on. Is that your way of staying friendly with other players from your realm?
I didn't particulary fancy getting to speak to some guildy of yours, at that time expecting him to be some officer/gm, hearing that I went 'out of line' after you told me to shut up.
If you don't want enemies on your own realm, you might want to somehow find a way to get your kicks aswell as not ruining other players' fights. Like I said, I'm not telling you how to play, but seeing replies from your guildies, I'm sure you're not the only player that doesn't mind adding, so add on someone who doesn't mind instead, rather than people who take the game too seriously like me.
Alaron said:You know what Straef, tell me your reasons why you think not adding is good for this game? All I've seen so far is a load of hypocrisy, favouritism and egoism thanks to this unwritten "rule".
Example of hypocrisy: fg whines about getting added on by another fg, but happily adds away on groups of 3 or 4 people.
Example of favouritism: this guy/gal/guild is ok, so we don't add on them. That guy/gal/guild sucks, so feel free to add on them.
Example of egoism: fg fights enemy fg, a random group joins in and fg pulls out, knowing fully well that the random group will most likely die.
