Which is better as a true caster, i personally prefer Nailahs simply because i would rather have a snare on my armour than a mez breaking dot. But thats just me. Discuss

gov doesnt give +cast speed as far iam concerned with it.

it gives +5 piety +5 dex cap and the af proc is sweet, but nailah proc(chargE?) > gov.

but stat wise gov > nailah due to +caps on gov

I plan to use GoV, incidentally I think you've listed the wrong stats. According to VoS the caster version of GoV gives...

Nailah's might have a better proc, but aside from that I can just fit the extra melee resists onto a piece of spellcrafted armour. I suppose i've got an advantage in that i'm a supp runie anyway so my targets likley to already be snared (not to mention that with PBT I can't really rely on armour procs to any great degree)

So yeah, GoV for me. Either way both vests are great for their unrestricted Spell dmg/Range.

You also forget to take the xping issue into consideration. If I had to do a pick today, I wouldn't at all be in doubt to pick GoV over Nailah, since I would at least be able to xp it together with other artifacts.

oh yea forgot to add that, GoV is very easy and fast to level + can lvl multipile artis in frontier dungeons. Nailiah on the other hand is a bitch to lvl imo :>

and Nailah's isn't THAT bad to lvl, about 1-1½ hour each lvl with a PF bot + wiz, depending on campbonus and how lucky u are with repop

GoV need less xp each lvl, but go get to a good stop, u need help cuz u can't get there solo

You run to cast range and wtf pwn them

If youre soloing and ur vest procs against a tank with moc down ur screwed, normally pb mez run to range start casting. I normally hit Zahur when things are at that point extra hp gives u that little bit longer

Leveling GoV is easier yes, but Nailahs isnt exactly that bad (but then i have leveld Jacinas >_<) 2 sms can make pretty quick work of it.

I have had a crafted helm to raise my resists on matter and spirit and get my skills to +11 when i am in grp, but keep zahur for soloing.

PS: as a caster is pointless to level GoV pass lvl 8, althoug it will level in rvr, will do it slowly. Anyways, lvl 5 AF bonus procs a lot more than the lvl 10 DoT one, which rarely proccs

my nailah is lvl 9 and i dread the day it will reach level 10 as from that day on i won`t be able to rely on my root anymore to cope with a fighting class in h2h range when moc is down.

why do both arte caster robes have a `i want to suicide` offensive proc on them ....

well u are right about nailah's robe here but .. gov is usable by all classes and i dont think that the other classes have a problem with the proc :>

The snare on nialah's proc is unbreakable so it's better than your root in that sense.

I'm going for gov tbh, unbreakable snare is nice, but in NF most fighting will be in keeps so it's a non-issue. ;-o
