Gotta love the way 3 healers and 2 Sms can defend a keep from 2fg's/bordering on 3fgs albs

specially when your'e outside on doors and are ae mezzed for about an hour, /clap plyed... oh and not complaining or anything... but...

hahaha @ bananplockeran and his 1.5 second nukes and lifetap... brings a tear to your eye don't it?, that's like Buffbot put to good use. step out and nuke someone 3-5 times and kill em before that even finishing casting... heh

well...

1 i wasn't very busy counting, as 1sm 2 healers seems like 5 ae mezzes 10 ae stuns ain't really different to 7 ae mezzes and 15 ae stuns.


and stealthers can't really get close to a constant stream of PBAE

unorganised maybe, but there isn't much you can do against 2 healers waiting on stairs to stun/mez while an SM sits atop spamming pbae and a BD that churns out nukes faster than he can get chronic dihorrea from licking a sewer pipe

i remember i BD set his pets on me at hlid and i ran all the way to nottmoor and they were still on me mezzed em, aggro'd keep guards and the pets still came and killed me lol

Very depressing when i compare the abilities of my Ice wizard to the other pbaoe classes in the game ie. sm or chanter.
Where is my leet pet that intercepts or snares and my own stun or mezz?

the deal with the buffed BD whines is that, ...

1. BD's are already almost harder to kill than legion.
2. BD's are self sustaining killing machines that altho they're "walking as intended" still require a nerf such as... being removed from the game
and 3. well... /whine


so, there you go... BD's don't actually need buffs to kill hordes of people, and by buffing themselves and their pets, i don't see why they haven't tried taking a keep solo

Bonedancer's can die fairly fast when a few buffed mercs hit them or a friar/merc combo

As for the topic,i wasn't there so can't really comment but mins/inf should of killed them with ease.Other than that taking beno lord room is a joke in alb,i remember my wiz killing 6 mids and no albs follow in xD

Like 30-40 albs vs 2fg mids at tower of beno and they die -_-

Just need keep raid leaders or people to get some balls

Well actually it was Booom doing most of the defending, rest of us just pansied about looking good - except for Banan, had to try a risky maneuver to get him rezzed at the doors.

Booom just spammed a low level pbae until he got target hits then switched to the uber pbae when people actually came up. The fact you guys came up in small groups of 2-3 at a time definately helped, and sending in solo ice wizzies just doesn't cut it these days I'm afraid. Here's exactly what you were facing until part of a 2nd mid group arrived and we got a healer and someone else rezzed:

Divious - Thane
Booom - Spiritmaster
Osriig - Savage
Bananplocklaren (spelt that right?) - Bonedancer
Remeem - Healer
Freydianna - Healer
Ingalill - Shaman
Kjel - Totally Uber Guy, Not a Gimp. (Skald actually but I can dream!)

Divious gave me a nice dosage of the Laghammers of Doom when he got everyone out front and I was standing next to him to find out where Eroa was standing (by the gk as expected.)

Mincer mez is slow to cast. I might be wrong but it could well be interruptable. (Edit: yup it's 5 second cast)

Exactly, Alb pbaoe is far lower utility due to our lack of inta cc (stun/mez) and not having a pet to defend the caster, hence why you don't get alb pbaoe grps in RvR.

Still if its 5 second cast. Climb in go into the back hide or something distract with a inf and cast mezz. If you aint able to take a keep just cus of 3 ppl in there you sure is doing something wrong imo.

Or.

Mincer got instant stun aswell. Just stun the sm then let infs kill him. After that rape the healers.

Think that after hitting your head into a brickwall for some time you would find out what your doing atm maybe aint the best solution.

Like cush said, i take it mincers have "some" range on their mezz - they dont have to stand in the middle of aggro while doing it? and when theres only 1fg (or less?) mids inside there should be plenty of climbspots unguarded.

Good point, think I'm going to shut up now. Keeps do NOT have 4 climbs points instead of 2 near the front... You SHOULD send ice wizzies to the lord room on their own... Mincers need to unstealth in the courtyard and sit down for 5 mins...

Fair enough if we have minos to climb an unguarded climbpoint then take a few seconds to mez people. Then what? They can either ride out the mez duration happily inside the keep, or on the first damage they receive they move again. It doesn't really gain that much.
