Hope your GCSE results are passes and may your weekend be filled with much booze and the like.

I only have 3 to collect thx god but gf has all of hers and is very nervous about it!

But we do have a party on saturday to get utterly pissed on, provided the drinks are free!

Goodluck!

I did uberly well in my GCSEs 8 years ago (omg was it that long ago?!?) with 6As and 6A*s, but then it went downhill from there - did crap in my A-levels, just scraped into Uni, then just scraped a IIii after 4 years there. Obviously alcohol and computer games had nothing to do with this decline in results /whistle

Never the less, best of luck to everyone - I'm sure you'll all do fine :)

Agreed, GCSE's are piss easy. Just wait till A-levels, when you really can't be arsed to do them, thats when the fun starts.

Oh well, off to uni for me :D:D:D

college totally sucked ass. the only parts i liked was going to the pub at dinner and then all coming back to class wasted and locking the teacher in, things like that.

one yr of my life wasted and i didnt even get a qualification for it. oh well, im still in uni :drink:

Well done indeed mate, you've got a lot of options open to you with those grades... apart from Eletrician ;)

tris, agree with you mate, the college I went to has a wealth of pubs within a short stumble. Glad to see its not different wherever you go :)

Cheers, my dad's constantly going on at me to get a proper trade instead of computers, maybe my Electronics grade will shut him up ^^

There's also a pub at my college, fuck knows how I'll manage to get served for anything except cokes etc there, but nvm. Apparantly it's £1 for a pint though, which i wouldn't be complaining about ;)

do a HND if they let you, i made the mistake of doing a BTEC.
What it means is in Uni you can miss some of the modules as they are covered in your HND

Been interested in Computers and playing on them since i was a wee kid, playing on my Atari, and my brothers Master System/Commodore 64/Amiga. I've never grown out of playing on them, and when i got into secondary school and you could choose IT course, that struck me as what i wanted to do :p. I'm still curious to how they work etc, so guessing choosing an ICT course would be the best option (obviously ._.) ;)

Didn't have a chance for a HND whatever that is :p We do get to do another small course from some American company, which apparantly is very sought after in employers etc :]

Well best of luck with that, you going the full hog with the doing Uni as well? imo you should, I mean I work in 2nd / 3rd line support and there are people with Degrees earning a tonne more than me. Some with Zoology lol

As for HND, if you can do one... its worth it. This American course they are offering... whats the deal with it? name?

where do you live by the way, i could probably point you towards some apprentaships in IT which are far more valuable than any course :)

I got my HND through an apprenticeship, its worth asking the college if they do something similar.
A lot of companys now are realising that courses don't mean you know the subject matter (i.e. IT) and like a little experience as well.
