It is scarey just how far along my revision timetable I have gone, I remember drawing it up and thinking "Pfft i got loads of time!" now theres like 2 weeks revision and then i leave for Aber (timetable includes little diagrams of trains leaving and returning...aswell as other diagrams depicting important days lol).

For my revision I found it most helpful to work back over the module, using the topics and key words for what areas to concentrate on and make my notes (clearly, not my usual scrawl) as I go then at the end of the session make up index cards (different colours for each topic) for the subject I've been reading about including one for key words/phrases one for quotes and important people in that sphere, time lines etc etc but kept dead basic (these are the bare bones for my revision the bits that just act as memory triggers nearer the exam day).

After that I do a brain storm with the topic heading in the middle of the page and just write down the words/phrases that spring to mind, then I get my list of past exam questions and choose one that is relevant to the subject I just covered and do a times mock exam essay plan for that question.

The first time I did all this it was all crap, the brain storm looked more like a brain drain and the mock exam essay plan looked like it'd been written by homer simpson but they have got much better the more I've done it and it is really encouraging to actually compare and see the progress made.

Anyway, this works really well for me, might work for some of you...who knows!

Hardest S2 paper in 6-7 years.

Let's hope the grade boundaries reflect that.

You'll do fine. (And I'm not 'just' saying this. I'm actually convinced you will, going by what I've read from you on this forum you've worked hard for it and your past results were always as you hoped they'd be, so there's no reason why it'd be any different now.)

I fuckin hope so mate.

I have done every past paper atleast twice over & I haven't had to learn formula - they're imprinted in my head from using them over and over again.

I'm about to sign on for the first time in my life -or would if they ever called me about it. Did the online application, meant to be a one day turn-around, have been waiting a week.

Hmm fuck that shit. Just phone the 0800 number and do it over phone. After that you go in with your dox and youre signed on. You dont get paid for the first three days of the claim though. Claim it from the first day you were unemployed, not the day you phone up.

Did not think you could back date your claim - as I have been unemployed since dec 25th.

You will get back pay to 25th Decemeber. You need to tell them the day you actually quit/got fired/made redundant, so they can pay your national insurance.

Yeh, what he said above me and that you will get back dated minus 3 days worth. Your P45 will say when you stopped working.

about 5 years ago I signed on as I did not have an income etc. Because I neevr did it straight after my temp contract expired i technically 'owe' national insurance. I get a letter saying i owe a few quid and that if i dont pay, it means I will need to work x weeks more to get my pension lol.

Last exam looms.

Judging by the performance of my other papers - I need a C/B :/
