Hey guys - have a chap at work and we're trying to connect into another network via a VPN connection - it works fine for me using shrewsoft VPN client, and RSAtoken... can anyone suggest a good (free) VPN client we can try on his Mac pls?

Doesn't MacOs have a builtin VPN client? Though it depends on what VPN server he is connecting to?

That is most likely specific to a software client. Edit (looks like it is a packaging standard for vpn client configurations from a quick google)

You can import something into the Mac VPN client so ask him to give it a go with the .pcf file.

The built-in client on MacOS does old-style cisco vpns out of the box if you decode the pcf. Used to use it myself.

Those old vpns are massively insecure though.

Yeah - problem is I can use shrewsoft to connect to multiple sites all at once and then run monitoring software which details all of the servers in each particular DC - invaluable when working from home. We do have a replacement inbound, but it's clunky as shit... ah well, I'll have to just suck it up!
