Very nice movie quality was the best ive seen yet and editing was great

I think its the first 3 pages was very pathetic to read..all that hate about adding on others fights,really doubt those ppl complaining about that never added in there daoc time.

I actually quite like you guys in GA, recent month or so you've hugged me rather than ganked me when im soloing and pulled off a PUG group i was in when we were already engaged, stuff like that cheers me up.

Last night in agramon you jumped us whilst we were fopping after a fight but appologised in mirc after so no big deal really (we won anyways )


P.S. Swords, Compared to some of the stupid classes ive grappled this week a valk is as close to skilled as i get! (<3 Shivhae)

I am sorry about my comment.

But I honestly can't remember a bard+bainshee+druid fighting down the whole entire 8 x player GA group themselves. I also find it very hard to believe it really happened. That is why I asked if there was a record of it. If it really did happen in a fair fight situation, then I would be very, very impressed by the 3 hibs accomplishing it.

But to just put words like that in this thread just seemed quite silly to me. I am sorry for my hard reaction on that. But I just don't understand the point with it. Release a movie about it instead.

It was my first try ever on putting together such an extended RvR movie like this, and feedback like yours really helps the motivation to keep on making more movies. I admit I still have a lot of things to learn, and hopefully my next movie will show improvements in both video editing and playing the game.

nice graph with bandwidth statistics btw, must be so many people who refresh fh every few seconds. movie released > within minutes the bandwidth shoots up to cap. nice to see it didn't blow up!

I started this thread, and I thought it would only seem nice of me to answer all the comments and questions in it. Sorry if I upset anyone by doing it.

I'm working on improving the above issues, and it has been a great learning experience to make the movie and actually watch own errors. As a result, I've done lots of changes in my gameplay and my shortcut keys.

I also find it very nice that we have 2-3 girls that actually runs with the Golden Age RvR group on regular basis. It really gives some good laughts on the Ventrilo chat sometimes, so to Shivhae and Kima: big /hug from me!

I never knew shivae was a female. That explains alot (haha sorry im just kidding)

Several ppl have complained about ventrilo chats when we fought Farils group and Artisan of Willow added in the middle of the fight.

Here is the transmit section of that chat:

GA/Unete says, "ah, they added. They killed me".
Stopchance says, "ah, focking sake..."
GA/Whitelights says, "someone adding now, someone adding"
Alycard says, "Yea, I know these guys. They are technically farming"
GA/Whitelights says, "this is just stupid"
Alycard says, "They are technical farming the marsholes"
GA/Tutte says, "lets kill them"

Alycard/Crypto = Wazie, Wazii
Stopchance I guess most knows.

I added this clip into the movie with 3 purposes:

1) To display the fact that even GA gets added upon quite often in fair fights.
2) I think we did a very nice recovery.
3) It shows that GA are not always running a full setgroup/guildgroup. 4 out of 8 was from other guilds in that clip. But sadly, if one out of these 4 makes a bad remark or do a bad thing: GA is to blame.

This reflexs my personal views. I respect everyone else for having different views on these matters.

bah my dload dropped to around 20k a sec so took about 7-8 hours to finish but thats understandable when you see the traffic log.

Vent for me is what makes the game so awesome in fg RvR and without it I really dont think I would be playing anymore. The humour and the co-ordination etc adds so much. And the women, well they definitely add a certain "element" to the vent chat especially that husky uber sexy sounding one on your vent lol

Nice Movie Boom i did enjoy it I was rather surpriced to find myself in the first few fights totally forgot i ran a few times with u guys in august as i just reactivated there after my usual summer break

All i can say to those runs are that i never vitnessed any adding from GA during those runs and i remember being very surpriced when whitelights ran passed a soloer and did not gank him i liked that alot .. since then i actually found my self in the same possition where albs / hibs have runned pass me soloing .... ofc i mainly get steamrolled but thats to expect

Maybe when I hit rr12 I'll understand the game a bit better.

This is how I play now: sometimes it works well, others I die faster than I can react to it. But I take your comments serious, and will try to improve as I play more.

He's only got to rr12 because he has good knowledge of the game, and he knows how to play his class with basic positioning etc.

Imo i agree with staj's points. Watch Our Group movies and you next to never see the druids / casters in shot unless they are nuking pets off them (or its their pov). Things like that make them win lots =[ sucha tough group to beat.

Think Maelstrom Cluster vid and WI2½ are the 2 best vid's I've seen, atleast what I can remember from the top of my head. WI 2½ is on www.camelotmovies.net atleast, dunno bout Mael cluster vid. These's arent "zomg edit" vids but most enjoyable vids I've seen.
