Makes me glad I left DAoC behind so long ago. Blizzard ain't perfect, but they at least try to show a sense of humour.
Just about the stupidest thing I can remember GOA doing (and I played Euro beta so I have LOADS of stupid things to compare this against).
Really hope you guys n gals get your name back, made me smile when I was playing

Yes GoA you gits changing names without consent, i was roleplaying with my smurf name (Inconnu armsmen) Twat Smurf.
If anyone can remember those fecking 3 kids taking the piss out of inconnu when SI was released in Camelot City saying you looked like a fish (if you was inconnu) well, i wanted to be impregnated as a Inconnu and be named "Twat Smurf" and they changed it to "That" I MEAN wtf >_> (even logged me out to do it) had to spend 30 mins dtrying to use quicklogin to find my hud was messed up as well i think you should compensate mwauhaha i was pawning thidranki.

Being in the same alliance as Bastards, us in Ni have full sympathy for what has been done to them Where will there madness end? will they end up changing our guild name as shouting NI! is offensive? If GOA have any brain cells then it must only be a couple and they have them on timeshare.

Sorry the word betrayed conveys mistrust, which leads to anger, which could result in abusive language, which might be taken as offensive.. Change it pls or I might have to cry to GOA ^__^

Outrageous behaviour from GOA and the person who reported your guild name.
It's sadly obvious that GOA don't actively police the server for offensive/abusive names but instead rely on people using Rightnow to report offensive names. Be proud that you guys got almost 4 years down the road before some moral custodian saw fit to protect us all and reported your guild.
I hope you all settle in to your new guild-name quickly and happily. But to me (and, I am sure, many other old-time albs) you'll always be a shower of the most Righteous Bastards.
