well if they got hacked,wich is very likelly seeing as i doubt goa would make an event by spawning loads of same epicmobs in emain'it really starts to worry me about the whole security of their sites/servers.
can people just delete a whole playerbase?can people get creditcard info?etc...

OK, this was the whole "monolog" by the griffin. In case it doesn't make sense with my translation he tries to tell here about radar users and other hacks that are being used in DaoC and he is about to do an even bigger hack to wake up Mythic.

Now follows some stuff that was written in the german forum by this hacker. He had to use some friends forum account to be able to post:

I haven't ever heard about a patch AGAINST such tools.

Wer also nicht "oeffentlich" cheatet kann mit den alten Tools ewig und
3 Tage weitermachen.

So, as long as you don't cheat "publicly" you can cheat forever and 3 days.

Ich bin ein absoluter Fan von DAoC.

Well as for the charming part last night in Sidi raid one mob when died it said it was charmed recently so i guess a minstrel managed to charm it even for a little. Must be a record

first: i am not "the" hacker

then: /morph /teleport /*f (i hope it's right ^^) are some utilities for game master. i know about because daoc has a freeshard project, where these stuff is enabled for every player. it can be right or not, i don't know exactly about this. /morph ### gives you a another skin for your player. /teleport teleports you to every location. /*f lets you fly around and so on...

goa's statement on camelot-europe.com says, that they have banned the involved people from the game (wow...) and do their best to prevent cheats ingame (also: nothing... games convention > goa u know...). the problem is, that some cheats i.e. excal***r cannot detect by goa... mythic MUST do their best to encrypt their datastream with a rotating private key...
