GOA Quest Fylgja

Hello everyone,

Can anyone help me with this quest ? I am currently doing this quest with 2 friends, we decided to pick different paths on stage 1 of this quest. We completed "Stone" and "Wood" but we are stuck on "Metal". I was told you can buy the metal from the Isalf Merchant but he is aggresive to us. Has anyone ever done this quest who could help please ?

I finally managed to buy the metal with another char(a BG1 toon) that was still friendly to the Isalf merchant under the tent. There is no way to get friendly again, once you hit the Isalf!

Kill of the surrounding Isalfs 1 by 1 and make sure that the 'friendly' char doesn't get mixed up in the fight, the merchant will tag along but don't hit him! Then move the 'friendly' char under the tent. When the merchant gets back quickly buy the metall (75gold if I remember right)

IF something goes wrong, just let the 'friendly' char die, do not hit any Isalf with him

i was aggro and just kept killing them and the merchant guy and when he respawned once i was able to buy quickly

Hello Again,

I have my metal now I recruited some people I met to help me The next problem I have is in Raumarik.. Has anyone done this area when doing this quest ?

Here is my problem.

I went to Raumerik in search of any neutral mobs that I could interact with ( I guessed it would be like the one in Musple but colder ) After about 5 hours of searching I found an Ice Storm at around 40k 20k. She was neutral so I guessed this was my mob, so I went to try and fill my empty vial. I was then hit for about 130 damage and very very fast until I was dead and the vial was still empty I went back and tried running through the centre of the Ice Storm and even at full sprint I would loose 50 % of my HP. ( About 800 damage in total ) I would get a message saying the vail started to shimmer in the energy cloud but I could not get it to fill. I asked a healer friend of mine to come and heal me while I tried various things but by the time she got to Raum the Ice Storm had de-poped

I have since spent a few hours looking for the Ice Storm but to no avail and it has not returned to 40k 20k. I am guessing it spwans at a random location ? My question is has anyone else had any problem with this area ? Does anyone know if it has a selection of spawn locs ? Does it normally do 130 ish damage ? or am I doing something VERY wrong ?

Yes I could just go to Musp and finish the quest there, but that is what everyone else does Any help at all would be gratefully accepted.

The Lava one was pretty much due east from the entrance, its now a Lava Geyser, near some lava.

Eleannor, what level are you, because when I did it (I did the fire one) I was hit for only around 15 dammage a second. The trick for me was to just stand in there until it filled up, taking dammage, it only took around 15-20 secs.

we went to musepelheim location 46000 30000 (roughly) near a lave lake is a fire geyser it wasnt in the lava at all but on the side of a hill. its grey con and neutral and we were in no way able to attack it.

So what we did was one person stand in the centre of the geyser (has an aoe fire dmg) whilst the other healed (my sm life transfer was enough) we had to stand in the geyser for some time 1 perhaps 2 minutes you get the odd message appear like you fill the vial pull towards the geyser and then the empty vial was infact no longer empty returned to npc and fort veldorn and quest was done.

Hello,

Hate to hijack my thread back but my original question still stands.

Has anyone done the Raumarik section of this quest ? or does everyone do Muspel ? Is there any other forums with any info about this quest ?

Tilda I am a level 46 War, I have more than enough HP for the Muspel section of this quest. The only trouble is I want to do the Raumarik section as everyone seems to do Muspel
