Second point ... much like you get own'd by assasins, light tanks and casters get spanked by archers (fighting someone 1 on 1 when you got 0 chance of winning is frustrating and i can think we can agree on this point :) )

Problem is tho - yes some of the RAs like Purge for instance have got a lot better, but the cost for it is extremely high - RR4 for lvl 3.

The impact of all these RA price hikes is a smaller slection really as u cant afford to get everything (what it will seem like) compared to the old RA system.

33 - 49 style spec = 75% - 125% dmg
1 - 32 Style spec = 25% - 125% dmg

So you fall into the middle catogory, depending on Race (are you a Saracen using a slash weapon?) and weapon speed, your dmg variance might not be that greatly noticable. I.e. might be hitting for near capp speed with a fast weapon and buffs with perhaps low str?

Passive RAs really just amount to Falcons Eye bit of aug dex, LW1, rest is all fluff mostly.

Going to do some sample testing with my Armsman (Plate armour 34% abs + Necro abs Buff 9% = 43% - Both plate/studded neutral vs Slash, which im using as its generally the most used) Vs 50 slash 50 DW with capped speed and slow weapons, which should emulate SBs pretty well for dmg and Emulate what it would be like with PD5 (4% off).

only if its a crap light tank tbh :p

also its very rare to see light tanks running about with no healer near :p

my evade rate on zerker vs arrows is very high, i imagine savage evade rate is even higher, merc evade rate should be the same as zerker and with better armor too so less damage when hit, dunno about BM, havent seen one in rvr for ages :p

I totaly agree with you here. that the gap between the abilities of low RR players and high RR players is going to widen more than it is already.

I think alot of players under RR5 will be worse off after frontiers than they were before. If they want to get people back into RvR makeing the strong stronger and the weak weaker aint the way to do it tbh :(

Since when is evade 1 the same as evade 3 ??? :p

If you cant kill or kite a light tank with no shield then here's a lil tip on the charecter selection screen type d-e-l-e-t-e then y-e-s and click on yes and hey presto no more problems :p

have you ever tried shooting a light tank with 2200+ hps, capped resists, charge and one that hits for 300+?

have you even tried playing archers before? or are you making these generalisations from an infils point of view?

infact... have you ever tried kiting a tank with PF, purge, IP, and charge?

doing 200-300 damage on chain for mercs... can shoot them in back and they can still evade it, then if you are lucky and get away then what? you get away and stealth again, so you shoot him again, he gets close needs 1 or 2 hits and he dies, you go into melee, he uses IP (and even if he doesnt have IP its still possible to die if you are really really unlucky, or you are a hunter since you get a disadvantage withh 2 hander vs 2 weapon enemies) .... you use run buff but you are bleeding! and if you arent bleeding, his PF will have procced! and you are dead again, dunno how it is for infils but last i tried, melee'ing light tanks wasnt a good idea ;)

and the only light tanks that solo are high RR, and even then i havent seen one since christmas

and even then, you'll be lucky if he's solo and/or doesnt have some sort of charge/proc that interupts you
