The ability to write well is of worthy importance, and the general descension of English into niche groups where one is required a broad knowledge of acronyms within a set context is a trend that I highly dislike, as it restricts culture's progression, as I see it.
Though its arguable that the abbreviation of language is a progression, the subdividing of language further is undoubtedly a worthless and backwards stance.
