Kenny just got the DVD of this (for those that don't remember it was BBC's "live" Ghost exploration with Parkinson, Sarah Green and Craig Charles) and my god, it is a very screwed up thing. No wonder I freaked watching it when I was 13.

Woman on phone: And my children keep staring at the screen, I can't get through to them, it's like they're possessed!


And theres some horrid little touches with adding superimposed people to the background for a fleeting second... All in all the acting is far shitter then I remember, in my mind they seemed perfectly credible all those years back (right up until the camera switch thing) but I heartily recommend this for anyone who got terrified by it years ago.

I know what she is talking about...the programme did end up a bit silly, but it was a very good idea. Not quite as scarey as one of the Paul Daniels Halloween specials for about the same time (few years different at most) where he went into an Iron Maiden during a live broadcast, and it slammed shut on cue. Rather than him jumping out, the camera cut to black, and you heard a voice shout out "Clear the set, NOW!".

I had nightmares.

Ghostwatch was great but the one thing I remember spoiling it was when a camera just happened to be pointing into the lighting rig just at the point when a light shattered. Was a bit too convenient and neat and spoiled it for me.

Otherwise, it rocked!

Well i dont watch much UK<name> Channels/Programs either, but every once in a while something interesting pops along.

I am interested a lot in the paranormal, and that "Most Haunted" is pretty interesting...

Others i tend to go for are those Physic ones... where the host talks about a person who died and is in someway related to the deceased.
