Considering how many stories you lot have, some of which are pretty convincing, I find it hard to believe that there isn't any conclusive scientific proof into these supernatural goings on. Just seems to me that as humans have conquered all our natural frontiers it could be expected that we create new ones to keep life interesting.

It's too easy to see things that aren't there when you're spooked. Seeing reflections and patterns in the shadows and things. I've had weird stuff happen to me too but I just put it down to random occurrences. Not enough scepticism in this thread at the moment so thought I had better insert some :)

but you're only young, there's plenty of time yet to discover how wierd this place really is once you can see beyond the science:)

Does anyone really believe that these are the ghosts of dead people???

All the ones I've seen on video/still look like camera defects or the kind of reflection you can get off of a flat surface like a wristwatch - for some reason that crap ex-blue peter presenter on most haunted gets very excited about them...

Im undecided, theres def something going on but whether its external or internal to people Im not sure -- ie whether its created by the mind (I am certain that the human mind has huge power we arent able to harness yet)

Shows like that most Haunted don't really help though :) -- they just trivialise it and give sceptics an easy target to punch huge holes in

Some of the photos arent as good as some of the other however, i do believe in ghosts (yes i do, kill me) anways, some of the ghost phtos i have seen in other shows, such as some i saw taken by this old woman, freaked me out, always wanting to see some other ghost sites, any more?

A good friend of mine worked on the whole of the first series, I won't say in what capacity for obvious reasons, but he did tell me the following:

The psychic scowser was a definite fake, using his mobile phone to request information from his wife, who was on the net

Yvette Fielding was a total bitch, 'evil' to quote

Ditto her husband, who was one of the other cameramen (he was also a Samurai, for real, so u didn't mess with him - he had a SWORD ffs and could use it!)

Yvette and hubbie owned the production company that made the series (conflict of interest, anyone?)

Another cameraman (pole camera) was Yvette's brother

All the really really spooky stuff happened to the above 3 people (scratches, touches, anything that a camera couldn't capture)

The 'moving cross' was deliberately framed so the edges of the paper were not visible, and the key was held by Yvette's husband, who also set the camera up. Funny how they didn't use 2 cameras for that, eh?

The orbs were completely genuine, unfaked (my friend witnessed them, and filmed them)

The door that opened in one program was also genuine

Jason, the gay sceptic was genuine


All in all, what you see on the screen is genuine in terms of unexplained phenonema, but the other stuff including Derek the scowser is just bullshit.

All those pictures are bs. Everyone can see that.

I'm not saying that ghosts etc. blabla isn't "real" - But those pictures does not prove a thing.

The orbs were absolutely not faked. I know this. It is also extremely unlikely that they were particles of dust.

decided to read this again cos I watched Most Haunted last night and seeing as we've got lots of new people on here now, I want to see MORE STORIES! pls.
