2. start it and download the 3.5 gb

3. download http://darkageofcamelot.com/internat...c-patch-eu.zip

4. unzip it

5. copy the 2 files into where u installed the us version of the game

6. run the game

7. login and give me free rps

If i already have been playing on Ywain though, do i just copy the ywain daoc folder ?
I got that zip from a few posts above , do i save it or open it? lol

Infact Nap, u got Vent or TS so u could talk me through it bud? be a hell of alot easier

If i copy the US game so i dont feck it up (obviously i wana still play on ywain atm too), When i go to unzip that link, where do i copy it to as it comes up with a directory and only one folder is there i think as the other is copied to the desktop.

lets say u copy u us daoc.... and put it in c:\daoc - eu\... thats where u copy the 2 files 2 and overwrite wat ever was there before and gogo

and in the end im gettin "login server is not responding plz try again in a few minutes"

been like that all day kinda odd since i got friends currently playin on excalibur and my account is active


PS got few friends with same problem as me , everythin is patched as it should (even tracert mythic IP) everythin is workin as it should

so any input would be welcome thx upfront

some of my m8s copyed daoc 2 another pc and patched it and copy bk and it worked...

i downloaded us copy again and did as i said above...

ok ive copied the US folder, im about to put the patch i downloaded into it but do i click a sub folder or just click on my main electronic art folder which all the sub folders are in? If i just click on the main folder how does it know where to install that patch?

the folder where daoc is in... u need 2 overwrite the files, when u find that then its the right folder ... the daoc folder where u have all the sub folders in with data,ui etc

im trying to do it, but when i have select the server the screen be black and crash to desktop. (unziped on usa directory)
and if i try it on eu directory all time trying to connect to login server. try it later.

Just give it some time.

As far as i understand you can only play your EU chars, if you activated your EU subs before the server transfer.

Basically you had to give GOA more money before the transfer to be allowed to have access to your account from the get go.

Ffs!!!!!!! Just pissing about trying to get this dam patch into my copied folder and i pressed the wrong daoc icon and uninstalled the labby client ffs!! Grrr
The cancel button was greyed out so couldnt even stop it doin it! ;/

that happened to me the 1st time, could it be you dl`d the eu-patch

and tried using it with no game data ie with a us client already on pc if not copy your client then put the 2 files camalot.exe and patch.cfg what ever from patch d-load and put it in the gme directery where your game is installed and patch it inside there of course save a copy of orig client first

Ok i think ive sorted it at long last... now patching... but how big is the patch? I mean how long should it take to download the patch as its taking me ages on mine... unless its patching something else ofc... ?
I clicked on the Daoc-Patch-EU folder which i extracted into my copied US version and clicked on the camelot icon... now its downloading a long patch...

Is this right?

YES.. BUT you won't get in unless you activated your account with GOA first.. went against the grain to give any more dosh to GOA so didn't

Will have to wait unfortunatly.

I spoke to a CSR in game last night on NA server, the subs link could take anything from few days to possibly 2 weeks before we can re-sub our EU accounts.

Well these days you can play hib/alb/mid on the same server, just choose the realm on which you have your chars and they should be there.

On the US servers you can play all 3 realms on the same server with no realm timer, so you will always see the screen with the 3 realms, just select the realm you want to play and the toons will be there.

To clear up the subs issue, where ppl are thinking they get a free month once the servers go live... Read this from the US FAQ's
