Getting to 50 before lunch as if your life depends on it....

Seeing as how i've got to go through it all AGAIN I was wondering which classes in each realm would you pick as the speediest balls out leveling toon?

What i'm trying to do is work out which duo of toons would be best for getting to 50 fast with a little thought to my preference in RVR (Casters, Stealthers and big damage dealers as i've done the support roles to death). My thoughts so far are:

Mid (preference):

SB & Shammie (I know I know, /yawn )
SB & Healer
Spiritmaster & Runnie
Zerker & Shammie
Zerker & Healer
Bonedancer & Spiritmaster

Alb:
Inf & Theurgist
Friar & Theurgist
Pally & Wizard
Wizard & Sorc

Hib:
Enchanter & just about any bloody thing
Warden & Spearo
Eld & Ment

Theres no way on earth i'll play another bard, NS, Ranger, Skald, Warrior, Cleric and I'm not too hot on the new SI classes.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated 'cause i'll be damned if I can work it out :wall: :lol:

Cabalist and sorc when they get the PoT next patch IMO.

zerker and shammy should get you up pretty fast.with end regen and some healing you won't have much downtime.

BD/shammie is a good duo as well, my shammie and a bd guildie are flying up levels chaining reds with zero dt.

Thanks for the replies but i'm going to throw the cat amongst the pigeons with this...

...I'M CRAP at co-ordinating play on both computers :doh: so anything that's going to get me mangled up with lots of button mashing is probably out of the question :lol:

Having never played the bonedancer i've got no idea how simple/complex their playstyle is. They seem to have quite a lot of utiity and I dont want to be debuffing, playing with pets, lifetapping and so on while trying to do something similar on the other PC.

I'm currently leaning towards zerker and shammie as that seems to be a potent yet simple combo.

The only alternative is to drag my lazy arse out of the armchair I play in and into a position where I can easily reach both keyboards and mice. However me and my armchair have a great deal of :wub: for each other :lol:

With a shammy/zerker combo all you will need to do if end regen every 10 mins and a heal/frig after fights depending on the con of the mobs

Friar and Theurgist in Alb is a fairly solid combo for PvE

Theurg you just run PBT, and earth buff every 10 mins so no need to worry much about juggling

And tbh, Friars can do just fine on their own

My friar soloed/duoed with a slightly higher level reaver and is now 32 after about 2.5 days /played. Spellcrafted equipment helps a lot there though.

Friars are mad soloing, I grouped a little, dont recall exactly but think played time at 50 was about 13days. Biggest thing I found was running out of mana, generally after a dodgy pull.

Helped out a m8s 47 Minstrel, just asked him to powersong while i chained orange cons dont think I had to rest more than 5mins in hour or so.

Keep in mind though at lower levels Friars dont really shine, when the mini ding spec points kick in though its pretty insane

Not really a Mid expert but my shaman and a m8s zerker got to lvl30 in about a day and half played (was a while ago might of been touch higher), neither of us really had a clue to mob locations so we were pretty pleased with that.

Just remember m8, dont pick the fastest to lvl, pick the one you'll stick with.. I wish I had , I still havent settled 100%

minstrel + cleric, theurgy, or cabbie

are definately the dynamic duos and even more fun if the minstrel actually participates. we aren't tanks but we can hit and our stun/mez/dd's are very powerful!

Just roll a necro, then PL whatever clas you want necro to 50, ~5 dyas, random toon #1 to 50 using necro, ~3.5 days

zerker + shammie is the best melee combo in mid, wish i had my shammie at lower levels when i soloed alot..

supp sm or supp BD + pac healer should work just fine too

altough everyone should play his own game i think its sad that everyone is trying to get 50 solo or with buffbot wheres the social grping thing? or is it all about pwning and Pling and beeing uber?

Mattshanes, Zerk and a shammie eat through oranges like a warm knife in butter, no downtime at all practically, use the shammys DoTs and it just goes faster to kill aswell. Can kill reds aswell but they take longer time to kill and you get less xp on that I think.

Well, i've spent over 200 levels in this game grouping, being social and generally having fun. There isn't much low level content left for me to enjoy and often the groups are frustrating as i've played so much and many others at that level haven't.

I'm interested in fast leveling though for two other reasons. 1) I won't have any cash and i'd like to get a good pair of farming chars to the late 30's early 40's ASAP so that I can roll an alt or two and 2) I want to experience the mid level content for shrouded isles thus I don't want to hang about in the low levels

It is going to take a while to get to know a good bunch of people on the server and I want to do that as soon as possible. The problem is that most people don't take a level 8 toon in rags to be a serious player.
