i got my man (vae) after 4 months of me liking him a LOT and telling him once, and him saying he didn;t see me that way. I accepted that, and even set him up with one of my mates in that time.....when we eventually got together, and i asked him what had made him change his mind, and once he had stopped joking that i had worn him down and made him give in, he said it was becuase he has gotten to know me as a person and that he liked that person.....
....it was me that kissed him, and when we talk about it now, he said even then he wasn;t sure he was doing the right thing, but its all turned out for the good....

ive been riding it out since october now. and i cant leave for a while, we do the same degree at uni :p. though 4 months of summer starts in june, so i wont see her everyday at least.

anyway you can chat with her less and what not? maybe not sit next to ehr in lectures, chat with other people in seminars, work with different people for projects and stuff depending on what ever your course is.

dont have to completely blank her, thats not very gentleman like, but dont always have her at the forefront of your mind.

But dont expect things to be simple when/if you pick things up, those things you love about that person and love them for will always be there, theyll still make you laugh and youll probably still click as always. But hopefully, things will just be different and you wont see them in teh same way, or maybe theyll see you in a different light, or maybe nothing will change.

though in truth, absense makes the heart grow fonder.

met a friedn i havent seen in a long while tonight, we used to be really close friends and still we are great when we're togethar, i dunno, i still like her, but things have changed, i accept we'll never be togethar but that doesnt mean i dont love her just as much, hopefully things will be different now though, we dont see each other anywhere near as much (once this year, opposed to talking every day and spending alot of time togethar) but it's good to know that someone can still know you so completely.

there is only about 20 of us in our group at uni and we all pretty much talk to each other. but we did all get into our own cliques (as what always happens) and i fell in with the current set of people, and after your in a clique its hard to penetrate into another one.

then get a group night out going and get everyone to mingle, break down the barriers!

then spend more time with other groups cause i'm sure you'd get on with people in those groups just as easily

I've been in your seat a couple of times, only made it out one time, had no plan what so ever, it just happened one night when we we´re drunk, so I think the key is to get her drunk then just stick around when she sobers up :)
