Joe Cole has played the best as an all tournament performance imo, really gives it all he has. His volley was one of the best goals of the tourna imo, and that cross showed some real observation skill. Never gives up even with 2 defenders on him. Top class player.

crouch is a completely different player than owen crouch is more an attacker who lays the ball on, owen is an out and out goal scorer. but for me crouch is an impact player who is extremly good at what he does not world class or even good england player a solid player who will frighten some of the best defenders in the world i voted stevie G also.cole has been good but gerrard has the something else

Don't particularly like Hargreaves but he did the job last night (apart from one occasion giving the ball away on the edge of the 18 yard box). Providing he maintains that form he is fine for that holding role.
