Oooh had some games of Horde, addicted now ... so much better than the 'versus' modes. Adding fortifications and turrets etc adds a real level of strategy and advancement for your character. Awesome.

I did love hoarde mode in gears 2, sat around for hours playing that with mates. I'll give it a try as soon as the campaign is over with.

Must say I'm disappointed with the difficulty settings, I set it to hardcore for the 1st play through and it's very easy.

Beast is so so so much more fun than horde

Nothing as satisfying as blowing yourself up as an exploding ticker and taking out gears or stranded.

well finished the game solo as all week no one on my firends list was playing it. previous 2 games i only ever pld co-op and enjoyed me a tad more. epic did a good job graphicaly on this but game seems to be far easier than the first two games. last boss was very shit. story was meh but then again i cant remeber much from the first two games

is mp worth bothering with?

Horde and Beast co-op are mate. Great fun.
