What i'm more disturbed by is some of the crass, tacky ways in which they're doing it. Let's face it, all these micro-companies who have sprung up with premium rate numbers to provide ring tones and graphics are the lowest of the low (only slightly above chat lines imho). For BW to get involved in something like that makes me somewhat worried about the future of this once-great community.

Oh for fuck's sake. it costs £1-fucking 99 pence to put a picture on your phone. Yes, it's pointless, but I have a band's logo on mine and a Blackadder ringtone, it cost me £4, and it amuses me slightly - it also personalises the phone so as to avoid confusion.

What the fuck can be wrong with that?

One more point...Ringtones and logos make very little money. BarrysWorld isn't about to stoop to any level to make a quick buck. I believe Jayminator simply thought that people would like the opportunity to check out some BW-relevent phone logos.

Nope, I got a shitty X-Box one that I didn't want on my Nokia (cos I picked it up to send a message & didnt notice the "new operator logo" menu was up), did restore & its gone. Of course you lose all the stuff like game high scores, but I didn't care cos I'd only had the phone a week.
