QW shaft was the daddy, and IIRC, truelightning er, is a lie, and just pushes the LG to the xhair. Unless they've actually changed the code since then.

I play Q3 RA3/DM/CTF occasionally, gave up the clan scene though. Used to be in clan exclamation/CS but I didnt like the way Q3 clan games were going .. lightning gun lightning gun lightning gun.

This week I am mostly playing Day of Defeat. Waiting very patiently for beta 2.0 which looks superb. I'll also pur-chase MOHAA when its released.

Keep meaning to dedicate some time to a space-themed MMOG but I find my attention span has dropped to nothing since playing FPSs.

Not bothered about Q4, Doom3 and so on, but this screenshot of Unreal 2 (p1mped on the BW news page recently) has got me interested.

UT and Q3, although technically excellent are too naff for me. I prefer my targets to obey the laws of gravity and be shot with genuine metal bullets.
