So do any of you canned pink meat infested weirdos actually play online games anymore? I'm still a Q3 freak, trued CS but couldnt get to grip with the physics of the game. Not nearly fast enuff.

Play quite a bit o' DoD and CS. Although lately i've been playing more DoD than CS

I used to play TFC a lot, but after getting broadband last year moved into CS and a bit of Q3. Still enjoy the odd game of Total Annihilation and Q2

I highly suspect that I am going to play MoH a lot, although I did not get on with DoD that well

You should try SoF, it's got a good friendly community, plenty of gore, and the all important "nutshot":D:)

Yep, theres a bit of that,(not that it has anything to do with this guys post, taking it a bit OT there aren't u?) but not during the game, like I said it's a good friendly community:)

nope :) Theres a fair few Alphsa out there but ooonnnllyyy oonneeeeee charlieeeaaaallpphaaaa </football chant>. Been playing quake since at least 98 tho.

And to steer this onto something worthwhile, are any of you looking forward to the big releases such as Doom3 Q4 and U2? I'm wondering if any of these will be as mod friendly as the other games are at the moment. Even tho I dont play it, I'd love to see CS on a decent engine. Perhaps the grittyness of the engine its on at the moment accounts for the realism. Maybe CS on an Unreal2 engine?

Looking forward to them aye, cos I'm an FPS junkie, but I don't think they'll do lots in terms of moving Online FPS's forward.

And Ahh, that's that sorted :p

I've moved to persistant world online games, MMOGs, currently playing WWII Online, which is actually FPS style of play, i.e. based on targetting skill and not statistics.

I still return to FPS games, normally only play Q3 or UT.

Why does noone seem to be playing QW yet loads of ppl like it ?

(oh, i remember. it's cos the only ppl who still play it are insanely good having played the same levels every night for the past 6 years :))

Started off with UT, then went Quake 3 for a while.. CTF and a little RA3... q3 ctf is the daddy... gave that up and now back on the more casual ut ctf. :)

CS is toss.

Started with TFC and Quake II, moved through to UT. Left due to community of complete and utter retards. Stopped gaming, went to T2, thoroughly enjoyed it. Community took turn for the worst, game started to die, too many bugs. Stopped gaming.

Now, i'm playing RtCW, which i've found excellent fun when you take the time to get used to it.

Playing a bit of TFC here and there.

yep rtcw DOES rule.i play lots of that,lots of c.s and a fair bit of q2,which is why i hardly ever post here in the evenings,only when im at work in the day.
although its my worst game,i still think prolly cs is the best game around,and i dont see why it needs a new engine,its fine as it is for me.dont want to sound smug or anything,but i find rtcw rather easy for some reason...

I play Counterstrike and Action Half-Life. CS with my lovely clan, MCNP, and ahl for fun.

If anyone wants to set up a friendly by the way, send me an email and I'll sort something out with you. No leet clans need apply, we're only playing to have a laugh.

Online: Q3-CTF and a little RA3 on the side. Given up on Q3-TDM now.

Offline: Diablo2, Baldurs Gate 1 & 2.

Well I started off with QW online, played it a bit, then found Duke Nukem 3D, and played it to death with my brother in law for nearly a year.

Moved onto Q2 in March 99 where I played for XTC, then Q3 in December 99. Been there ever since :)

Previous Q3 clans: LL, Vs (now defunct).

Currently play RA3 for PR^ (quit TDM completely (also for PR^) on Tuesday night there at the end of the current BWDML season), and CTF for XPd. I also am Captain of the Northern Ireland Squad for the European Championships being held over the next 2 months.

I play in defence btw :D

we keep our moaning to rw and it works beautifully. you too could listen to the orgy of swearing about lag slags, warping f00kers, euro cheating crunts. quite amusing, esp. when someone gets on my nerves. or when don and jazz have a bitch fight.

our main aim is to have fun, but we mix in the odd tactic too so we don't lose everything :)
